Dear Hughes, I wanted to take the opportunity to praise Darren at the Colchester, Tollgate store for his customer service and advice. We had been to Curry’s and been shown a comparison demo on the Samsung QLED and Sony XE90 models by a Sony salesman. Of course, the tests showed the Sony came out the best between the two from the tests, but these were fixed images and selected videos, rather than live TV. We went back the following week and spoke to a Currys salesman in the hope of getting impartial advice. We were told the same Sony was the best for our price range. We walked over to the Hughes store next to Currys. Darren took the time to listen to our budget, requirements and experience with Currys. Darren was able to demonstrate the pros and cons of both the Samsung Q7 and Sony XE90 on live TV. Darren also took the time to explain the variations between our current Plasma TV and LED screens (motion blurring etc) and also the sound quality as new TVs maximise screen sacrificing the speakers, so recommended the Samsung sound bar. Darren advised he had bought the same Samsung TV and sound bar recently and was very impressed. We decided to buy the Samsung Q7 and sound bar and 5year guarantee. Darren have his card and said to call if we had any questions. We were blown away by his knowledge and salesmanship. We really appreciated the time and effort he took with us. Thank you very much Darren!

Bought and paid for a TV a month ago. Was told that it would take around a week to 10 days for delivery as it was in stock but not in the shop. Turns out it wasn't even in stock. A month on and still no tv. This was a xmas present that won't now be here for xmas. I now have 1 very dissapointed son. The after sales is a joke. The staff don't want to know. You just get pushed from 1 person to another. Spent a lot of money in this joke of a shop. They are deceitful and lyers and basically tell you anything just to get your sale. Stear clear from his shop. I'm disgusted with the service I am getting. You have been warned people....
