Very helpful staff. They care too much about your time. They ask upfront how much time do you have and try to serve you as fast as possible. Opening an account was as smooth as I wanted it to be. All my questions were answered clearly and professionally. Highly recommended.

If you want a pleasant experience, avoid interacting with Marcin at all costs. I wanted to open a new bank account. Thought I had all the necessary paperwork (I'd been told the day before what I needed to bring by a lovely young member of staff, not Marcin) and gave said documents to Marcin when we sat down in a cubicle. He spent 30 minutes with me checking documents then left to verify something, came back to say that my documents weren't sufficient but that he couldn't help me anyway because I don't yet have a job here. That was one of the first questions he asked me almost an hour beforehand! Perhaps he didn't take note initially because what he asked me and said to me at the beginning of our meeting sounded almost scripted. Marcin was verbally aggressive and made me feel incredibly unwelcome! I had similar issues with documentation at NatWest, which I'd gone to earlier, but the person I spoke to there told me how I could get ahold of the right paperwork and let me make some of those calls in the waiting area. Completely different customer service experience!!

booked a meeting to open another business account, phoned up to check
what details i need to bring, but no appointment has been booked what a joke, my business partner is flying in from Malaga cant cancel flights.
my advise to you all don't open any business account with HSBC they are a joke.
