Small but comfortable. Was surprised that the shower and sink were in the room rather than behind separate door like the toilet but acceptable for one night stay. Warm room with adjustable air conditioning. Comfortable beds.Rooms: 3/5
This is a standard ibis budget hotel and the shower is directly on the room, which may be an issue for some people. The room with the loo is tiny. When I arrived there was a kettle, a couple of tea bags and some milk but when that ran out it wasn't replenished and I was told I'd have to pay, which I thought was stingy. That said, it's right by a tram stop and easily walkable to everywhere in the city centre. It was clean, totally quiet, with a comfortable bed I slept really well and best of all I paid just 41 quid a night for the room. It's a budget hotel and if you get it at the cheapest rate, it's well worth it for a city centre base.
Hotel is very good, the rooms are clean and tidy, with just a couple of caveats. 1. a Toilet Brush would be nice to have in the toilet 2. power sockets should be on the bedside table and not hidden under the beds no one could find them 3. power sockets should be next to the mirror so we can use the hairdryer and look at what we are doing.
The staff were so helpful and kind to me and made me feel very welcome. The room was very basic and sadly no kettle but had everything else - including a shower in the actual room!? I will say that the window wouldn’t shut properly so it was quite noisy with building work outside but I had earplugs and the bed was comfortable so I slept well. Views were nice of the quays and I really like the location!
The rooms were okay, only booked this hotel as it was the cheapest and not that far from where I had a meeting + train station. It was what you’d expect from a budget hotel. Agree with all other reviews asking for better placement of power sockets and maybe a toothbrush? The toilets are very dimly lit but otherwise it was okay. The bed was what you’d expect from a budget hotel so no complaints there. All other amenities are good for a budget hotel: standard tv, window, linens, thank god they had cups on the sink to use for water. Only other issue was the staff, they are very judgmental for some reason. I had that experience with the check in as well as the check out staff. As if they were not happy when I checked in/out at the designated checkout time even though I had informed them prior. I had an issue with my key card every time I left the room. The only helpful staff were the room service staff, they were helpful throughout the stay, if you bumped into them, they’ll smile and help you.
Great budget hotel, staff lovely and friendly. Bed comfy and shower was really good. The air conditioning worked very well. Great place to say if your going to gigs. Rooms: We shared a room with our daughter. Would be better if the shower door was opaque as my daughter doesn't want to see my wrinkly bits
The staff was very helpful and nice. I booked a room with bunk bed for 3 person. The room was nice. Only the amenities soap was not really enough for 3. The floor was a bit sticky probably from the cleaning solution or maybe need a cleaning? Idk. But the bed was clean, bedsheet was also clean. Overall a nice stay.Rooms: 4/5
Short, one night stay as we were watching Liam Gallagher, compact room but not too small. Clean and bright and perfect for a cheap, one night only staying over as having a few drinks at a gig room. Would stay again if needing to. Shower is in room but didn’t bother us, powerful and hot. Staff all exceptionally polite and helpful Rooms: 5/5
Chose this hotel because it was conveniently located for the Co-Op Live venue we were going to a concert at. However was staying with friends and therefore was a bit shocked to find on arrival the shower was in the room and not a separate bathroom which was a bit embarrassing and led to a strategic placing of towels around the room, over mirrors etc for modesty. Stayed for 2 nights and after being out all day on day 2, came back to find the room had not been cleaned and no replenished tea/coffee, and worse, as there was no drying rack provided for towels, our towels were still wet and had makeup on from the night before and had not been changed which for the price paid was not on.
Stayed over the weekend what a little gem this place is. Location great being near shops, restaurants and cafes and the night life was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful with a fast check-in and we found the rooms clean and spacious. The bathroom was very unique we thought we was on a cruise and despite the creeks and bangs it was very efficient and easy to control water temps / entering and exiting the shower. We will be back and thank you the wonderful staff you made our stay that little bit more warming Food & drinks: Great location
