Had a nice panini at lunchtime but I thought it a tad expensive, £6.45 with a couple of lettuce leaves, 2 slices of tomato, 2 pieces of cucumber and grated carrot. Popular venue in nice location. Staff plesant and place looked clean and tidy. I spent a good 20 minutes walking up and down Union Street looking for a nice chain free cafe / bar with decent grub. Glad i stumbled on this little gem. Would definitely call in again.

This palce is so british I love it. Go there enjoy a book with some tea, buy the book, don't buy the book or just browse the shelfs. It's always worth while to go there.

Great little place. Very friendly and cosy, and nice for any book lover. My ONLY gripe, though only a small one, is I think it closes too early. To be fair, I realise it also opens quite early in the day too, so staff still have a full working day.

Excellent place. A friendly open space, on two levels, to rest weary feet or meet favourite old friends. Prices very good. Quality excellent.

Great laid-back atmosphere. A really relaxing and informal place for coffee with or without food, particularly the seating area upstairs surrounded by the book shelves.
