Lovely people and a brilliant pist office. A real service to the community
This post office is the best in TOWN!!! They are the loveliest team and always go out of their way to give the customer a good experience, they are patient and efficient - even with the high number of people who use them! I have been going there for over two years and can definitely say they always leave a smile on our faces : 100% recommend them
I used to like going to this post office but I’ve stopped. They are generally friendly but often try to upsell me to more expensive postal services which I don’t want or need. Also, I had an experience recently where I was posting a small parcel I’d triple checked the dimensions online before going there to post and the seller tried to convince me to pay for medium sized parcel, despite not measuring the dimensions himself. He then made out like he was doing me a big favour by only charging me for a small parcel. Disappointing.
Really really rude! I went there today and was shouted at by one of the older men behind the desk. He asked me to put my parcel up to the screen so he could scan the barcode. I did this, and then he still wasn't able to scan it and he shouted at me and kept shaking his head. I kept moving the parcel to ensure he could scan it but I didn't understand what he wanted me to do. He continued to get annoyed. I was a regular customer who went there everyday but I was so shocked to have someone be so rude and aggressive towards a customer. Definitely worth going to Turnpike lane instead!
It's too bad we can't give a zero star review because that is exactly what they deserve. Avoid this place at all costs. Where to start, when is your turn they don't even pay attention to you, they start sorting you out then go to another costumer then back to you and it goes on an on. The manager or the owner he doesn't ask how do you want to send, No. He just deliberately chooses what he wants and charges you. That is unbelievable, they should be charged or something! And then even try to give you misdirections about a letter you need to send to an official place. Who does that! Awful service. Avoid if you don't want to be ripped off.
Online on Google and on the royal mail website it states this post office is open until 3pm on a Saturday yet when going there I was told "look properly" when asking for the post office service and mentioning it states it is open until 3pm. I understand amendments to opening times due to covid-19 however no amendments have been made or specify online? Amend or stop closing early.
Staff always friendly and accommodating. Especially when you are a regular! Patrick goes out of his way to be welcoming and friendly. Thank you for the great service!
I go to the post office very frequently as I sell clothes on depop. Have to say, I always go out of my way to go to this exact post office. Post offices in muswell hill and crouch end both charge double what this one charges. Two friendly workers with some part time workers I think. Yes, queues can get long but I dont expect any less from a small post office like this.
Incredibly slow service, only one customer in front of me but took 20mins to be seen. Man at the counter was casually chatting to customer whilst the queue got longer and longer. He then tries to sell me double what I need and despite my obvious keenness to get my jobs done and get out of the place he then tried to start a conversation about where I’m going on my holidays! Shall avoid in future!
It's conveniently located but they might attempt to upsell you a more expensive service than you asked for i.e £6.70 instead of £2.06 to send an envelope when you asked for 'Signed for'. When that doesn't happen, you'll get as good a service you'll get anywhere. As long as you go there knowing exactly how much you need to pay beforhand, it's OK. Just make sure to inform family and friends about their tactics, you'll save them £££!
