I had the opportunity to try several different gins, the grapefruit one is to die for! Cozy little place, food was lovely as well and the team was very welcoming. Very well organised as well considering the current situatin. Would definitely recommend if you're in the monument area.
A classic English pub downstairs with outdoor seating and great people watching. Just off busy street and a block from London fire monument. Upstairs is the higher end Lewis Carrol dining room which is really charming and full of natural light. Elevated traditional pub food was delicious.
Wonderful pub in the heart of the city. The staff were more than accommodating and helpful. The food was delicious and with good portions. I would highly recommend if you are in the area. I will be returning on my next trip up to London.
Excellent food and within a short jaunt of the Tower of London. My husband and I really enjoyed the food in London and this place stood out. I almost would have liked a stronger Alice in Wonderland theme, but otherwise no complaints. It was also a lovely day so we enjoyed sitting outside at one of the tables there.

the nicholson pale ale is great, also the steak pie, and big outside area
