The staff at horizon are extremely easy to talk to & very down to earth, making the client more at ease. Great service, I'd be lost without the help of the people at horizon when I first moved here in the start of November. Great work guys, well done ☃🎁🎄

Horizon has supported me from day one ,With the help and guidance of my key workers i managed to get off Heroin crack and benzos in december 2012 and off all prescription drugs such as painkillers and methadone since march 2016 .i kept connected ever since and enjoy being a volunteer to this day .I made some amazing friends in the services and also been given the opportunity to complete a group facilitating course and addiction counselling level 2 with Horizon/Acorn .Thank you to everyone for helping me change my life for the better and for all the support and opportunities still to this day .i will continue to give back and keep on keeping on .Thank you and much love ~ Adrian

I volunteer for Horizon and I'm impressed with the services provided. Dedicated, hard working professionals who really care are available to help. The new site in Winstone House is much more human and welcoming, and talking to people coming through the door, the services seem to really work. If you need help with addiction, it's here.

Horizon offers support for Blackpool residents with alcohol & drug dependency and sexual health issues. There is also a specialist harm reduction team and and a dedicated LGB&T team offering confidential support. There are no barriers to accessing the services at Horizon, so if you feel you need help, just telephone 01253 205156 or drop in to Dickson Road. Health screening, including rapid results HIV testing is also available from the drop-in centre on Dickson Road. The service is FREE for Blackpool residents.

I have been a client with horizon for just short of a year I have found them absolutely useless, I see there are 10 reviews and 9 from workers patting there self on there back well done.I was drug free for 3 years from Manchester when I relocated with my partner to start work and a new start and straight away had problems my transfer was apparently lost and I had to wait 2 months to be scripted then since the change over from cookson st I have missed 2 appointments due to not being able to get of work but I did contact them before my appt explaining since then put on daily pick up and now reduced while I work in Preston I live in Blackpool and ny daily live is so so hard misding pick ups wge im on certain shifts this service needs to stop using the excuse they have to many clients and start helping people who want to help themselves I'm deeply disgusted with them.
