Story

Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom is a child’s paradise where between March and December there is always something happening. A clean, friendly farm that appeals to all ages and offers close contact with a wide variety of animals from meerkats and lambs, to snakes, owls, llamas and ostriche. A daily programme of events encourages audience participation in the form of bottle feeding lambs and goats, deer feeding and the famous Sheep Steeplechase. Events change as the season progresses from spring lambs, to summer fun, Halloween Screams and finally a traditional Christmas including Nativity Performances where anything can happen!

Hoo was is kept clean and tidy. Very presentable zoo. They take on a lot of "unloved" animals and provide them a better quality of life. All the animals looked like they were in capable hands while we were there. Remember to bring your own food as there's no shops nearby and you'll pay a little more for their stuff.

Wonderful zoo farm with lots of rescue animals, including some unusual mammals and a collection of British animals like foxes and otters. A real hidden gem. Can't recommend it highly enough. They also offer lots of animal experiences where you can meet the animals. I recommend the binturong experience! They also have a very nice looking chalet where you can stay to do wild Badger watching. We plan to come back to it in the summer!

Great day out for all the family, loads to do, we had a meet the meerkat experience which was brilliant! We had taken a picnic so can't really comment on the shop prices. There is a good variety of animals which the kids loved! The staff there were helpful and polite. There is a large car park so no real issues parking

Very pleasantly surprised, lots of new animals and all kept in very good conditions. My favourite part was being able to feed the farm animals, cows, llamas, pigs, goats, emus. There was loads to do, would have spent the whole day if it wasn't so cold!

I came here for an animal experience which was very enjoyable. The animals were very comfortable with human contact and some even wanting to climb on you. The hour went by very quickly but I did not feel rushed and I was welcome to explore the grounds afterward as the experience included entry to the site. The keeper with us was very knowledgeable, able to answer all questions I had about the animals. Some parts of the site look like they could do with a little bit of care but this did not detract from the experience in any way and the friendly cats wandering the site were nice company between the enclosures.
