If you value courteous service, a pleasant shopping experience, and just so happen to be passing through Cookstown - I highly recommend steering clear of this store. The level of management here is embarrassingly poor, and some of their staff's behaviour reflects extremely poorly on the entire establishment. Absolute pathetic behaviour from ‘Shauneen’ - one of the managers who actually removed her name tag to prevent her name from being taken for a complaint - and a few of the retail assistants that seem to come attached to her hip.nnWhat did I do? I re-entered the store via the exit! Woww - I know right! Well, apparently that’s a major crime!! They’re letting shop-lifters walk free, but if you’re a paying customer - don’t you dare come through the wrong door!nnThings got worse after I left, and I was soon the subject of the hour! Go me!! It annoyed the other customers so much so that some of them actually felt the need to approach me, and apologise - on ‘Shauneen’ and the store’s behalf! Absolutely crazy! Though it does speak volumes - it says a lot about the lovely people of Cookstown and, consequently, even more so about this store.nnI don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I’ll make an exception with this one.
Confusing... Is this the range or homebase? Significantly different prices for the same items with homebases prices often much lower but you need to go online to check one against the other before making a big purchase. Unfortunately I didn't know this when ordering so the difference was over £300. I do really like the Range & will be going there regularly but will be checking before making any further big purchases in the future.
Terribly rude staff, especially one lady in particular. She really doesn’t know how to speak to people or seem to have any manners. Shouting at people in store isn’t acceptable - I think a refresher course on customer service is needed!! I was disgusted by her attitude and left all of my items down and left the store. There really is no excuse for being rude.
