I took a 10 month old cordless mower back to Tollgate Store that just kept cutting out. It had a 3 year warranty. The manager, after keeping us waiting for 25 mins strolled down and walked past me and promptly started cutting the grass in the car park in pouring rain.nHe said the mower was only stopping because it was raining. I told him it does it when the grass is dry but he kept saying there is nothing wrong with it. After as good as calling me a liar and twice telling me not to shout I’m deaf he walked back in the shop and in front of customers he said to his colleague there is nothing wrong with it but we will exchange.nHe totally humiliated me and rude is an understatement.nI am a partially deaf female pensioner and I feel certain he would not have been so rude to a man. NEVER will I shop there again!
Had to return an item unopened after having it for weeks, no receipt so no proof of purchase, however although the women was not impressed she did exchange my item which I'm very grateful for
I ordered something for delivery i wasnt offered a delivery date so i phoned to explain i work no help at all 1 person just made no sense and was to busy saying i ordered a standard delivery even when i explained i had no other option abd 1 lady said i will sort it and u will receive a email and no email with the date apparently i ordered from a 3rd party but homebase took my money disgusting service i will never shop there again and the reply is to asked me to remove the store thats there solution you can tell they care about there customers
Not only can you actually go and buy things in Homebase which other stores only sell online, but they're putting in an EV charging hub.
