I strongly advise thinking twice before ordering from Wickes. This company is not serious about customer service. We ordered our kitchen in the middle of summer, and now it’s almost the New Year, yet the work remains incomplete. They frequently schedule appointments and then fail to show up, and when they do come, the installation is often done poorly and not up to standard. They always find excuses for delays and never complete the work in a timely manner. We deeply regret choosing this company, as there are many other businesses that take their customers more seriously. Overall, I’m disappointed with the service and would caution others before choosing them.”
The newly refurbished store is nicely laid out, with clear signage and pricing that helps you find what you need quicker. It isn't the biggest store, but they have the essentials, and I have had a couple of instances where the staff have gone above and beyond to help me out. I think it was Sonia that helped me last time hope I got that name right as she was very helpful and a joy to talk to after a very stressful visit to one of the company's competitors that resulted in us wasting a great deal of time and still needing a few extra bits. I understand some complaints have been made regarding the parking being limited to 45 minutes, but as long as you are aware then there shouldn't be an issue. All in all, they will be my first port of call from now on.
Extremely poor service – unfinished kitchen after 4 monthsnnKitchen installation with Wickes started in August and is still not completed in December. The final worktop installation was scheduled for today — no one came, no call, no email, no explanation.nnMy husband took another unpaid day off work, causing further financial loss. Months of delays, stress, and complete disregard for customers.nnThis is a clear breach of contract and totally unacceptable behaviour. We are escalating this case to consumer protection authorities and are prepared to take legal action.nnThink very carefully before choosing this company.
Only 45 min free parking?? I got parking charge for 62 min!!!!...its DISGUSTING. Clearly they only want you there minimal time. If I need a big shop I will go somewhere else. Also Don't leave anything behind because if you do they Don't keep it to one side for a bit, it goes straight back on the shelf. Tough luck basically.
This outlet is similar to all other Wickes outlets. Good range of products at competitive prices. Use o a regular basis for DIY needs.
