They have DPD drop off point and constantly refuse to take parcels. Worst thing is how aggressive and abrupt the staff are in a customer facing role. Why have you even got this service if you refuse to take parcels. Only had 7 small parcels which could have easily been stacked on top of each other and taken up no more than 1 foot x 1 foot space. So much for Christmas spirit. Avoid if you enjoy Christmas cheer and good customer service as you will receive none of those.
I don't really buy from homebase, always shobby stuff. Went in for a drill yet had to wait 20 minutes for a staff member to come to me, didn't know anything i asked and a security that kept watching even after i told him to Pee off, dirty place and useless staff.
Had in stock what needed. As expected service. Still there is something about this shop that just doesn't feel right. It's definitely a bit too full on the one side of stuff
Has a lot for household and garden needs ,was able to purchase potting soil had a good offer 3 bags for £20,it is disabled friendly,staff are friendly and helpful..

Just want to say Ordered bathroom suite from here and I got worried that the delivery of it by DPD wouldn't take it up stairs into bathroom Afternoon speaking to suey at homemade she emailed the department and asked for this to be done for me She was amazing This morning I had delivery 3 men were there at my house and carried everything up Would buy from homebase again Fantastic all round Iv not jet checked items because electrician are rewiring my house so carnt check 100% 5 stars and more
Good clean store with reasonable prices and a good selection of products. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Fully recommend.
Buy a mix paint on the chart it wasn’t so bright.when I bring it home and start to use it , it was so shocking to see the colour it was dark Green when I asked if I could bring it back and get it lighter they said know. That not the way a guy business should treat their clients
Me and my wife popped in to the Oldbury store on the friday night for some paint shopping for our decorating project on the house. At first we didnt get many help from the staff but after deciding what colours we like we rang the button by the paint mixing station for help. After a few second a friendly staff member named Steve jumped around the corner and greeted us. He helped us choose the right shade and gone over and beyond and even offered us to scan the piece of wallpaper that we were trying to colour match. Also took us around to other iles to explore all our options with different brands of paint. In the end we still chose 2 Dulux colours that needed mixing. He even let us press the buttons and get a bit involved with the mixing process wich made our experience even better. Steve was an absolute legend and he definitely gets a 5* for customer service. We need more people in stores like Steve!!
First time visiting a Homebase as I tend to go to B & Q and Wickes for home improvement since moving here. Very expensive prices for average looking stuff. Could probably make what they’re selling better than what they actually look like. There’s a lot of home stuff here but like I said, it’s very expensive and you can most likely get the product cheaper somewhere else. I don’t mind spending a nice penny if the product was built to last but again, as I said, what you’re getting is average/cheap looking. I’d personally only come here to get visual ideas for decor and then buy my supplies and decor elsewhere.
