Fantastic please to stay on the Hadrian's Wall way. The couple running the guest house made us feel incredibly welcome and provided everything for us, from a superb breakfast to a lift down the road to the pub! We were thoroughly well looked after in this charming guest house. The price is very reasonable compared to other places on the walk and offers a relaxing place to stay in a very amenable location. Highly recommended!

I arrived at this guest house after a 20 miles walk from Alston, tired and with my feet in pain. It was great to be welcomed in this beautiful house and swiftly escorted to a clean, comfortable and spacious room with a window on the front garden and field. I am my friend booked just the day before and paid 78 GBP for one night in this fantastic room, which included a delicious home cooked breakfast. The owners are kind and friendly and they even gave us a lift to the train station in Haltwistle the next morning. All in all I wholeheartedly recommend this BnB.

Excellent accommodation, ideal for touring Hadrians Wall.

The accommodation is comfortable and clean and the owners are friendly. We had an enjoyable two nights – can recommend.
