Lovely site, very well looked after kids loved the animals, only comment is the shower block is quite small so imagine it would get very busy when site is full

Good location for visit to Hadrian's wall. Great camping and caravan site, also have glamping pods, a lot of the glamping pods have a hot tub, these were very popular even in March when we were there. There was an area for Tipis but these were not erected in our March visit but the location at the bottom of the site was well set out. It's about a mile walk into Haltwisle down a very steep bank, which makes the return journey a bit harder, unless you catch the bus which stops right outside the site gates. Unfortunately it only runs from April until September. 
The animals on site are a bonus as well as the views of the Tyne valley and the long dog walk. The facility's are first class and immaculately maintained.  Will definitely return and have recommended to our friends.

Fantastic location for Hadrian's Wall. The park was in a lovely, peaceful rural setting. The motor home sites were a bit closer together than some of the other sites we have visited. The ladies amenities block was very good with two complete "bathrooms" included. Also, showers were free and had a constant water flow with normal tap. Thumbs up for that! The only issue I had was the chemical loo disposal point was located right outside the amenities block in full view rather than in a discrete location...but they did have a hand sanitiser, which is always a plus.
