Very nice site with riverside pitches. Walk or cycle into Haltwhistle from site. Trains to Carlisle and Newcastle run regularly from Haltwhistle station. A definite favourite

Very good campsite. Join club for discounts. Tucked away but well maintained site. Club handbook gives good facility details.

Friendly site, people only stayed a couple of days unless digging at Vindolanda for a fortnight. Great hot showers and right over the river bank.

Lovely site, we've never stayed anywhere so quiet. Toilet block is immaculate and we never had to queue for a shower. Not much for the kids to do but they were quite happy riding their bikes or playing with their "new friends".
