Reviews
What a great venue for local bands/tribute acts etc! Went last night to see the excellent 'Skylines' Camel tribute band...if you like intimate venues -that have that sort of late 60's/early 70's feel - this is perfect for you! This is how I like to see live music - not with 5000 other people watching the band on a screen - 'cause your £80 stadium ticket bought you a seat so far from the action, you can't actually make the band members out! Great experience - really recommend - will definitely be visiting again.
Every band gets treated to a great team of audio and lights technicians to get the best sound. So you can properly hear the bands you see. If you don't know Bracknell, parking & finding the entrance is hard. Park at The High Street Lexicon multi storey on "The Ring" pay the going rate. The entrance is on The Ring the Stage entrance is on Market St where the Sat nag will get you to. Free Parking at The Peel Centre, then walk down the side of Hollywood Bowl, across market street and around the bottom of High Street MSCP to The Ring.
Great little venue but please get a larger sign outside to make it easier to find!
Great venue, great crowd and we had a blast - Moonage - David Bowie Tribute Band.
Good music, great atmosphere, cheap beer.. Having a good DJ to keep the night going would have tipped the extra star
Went on Saturday to see Special Kinda Madness. Although we had a great time I felt the venue should take on board a few issues While queuing to get my wristband as I had paid online I saw 3 people blaintenly walk through without paying. One was challenged by someone already inside & did end up being forced to come back & pay. There was no security on the door so it was left to a lady in the kiosk to give out wristbands, take money & be door person. The same person who didnt pay was later caught in the band green room. This should have been attended or locked to stop theft of personal items. I would guess that about 200 people were there with one small bar and just two people serving. I missed at least 20 mins, maybe more of the second set trying to get a drink. With the negatives out of the way, we did have a good time, the band were great & the atmosphere brilliant. Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Hope you have the band back but definitely need more staff on board, especially at the bar. This must have resulted in lack of beer money being spent ...... although serving up Tesco vodka probably helped the profits.
That was a nice experience as this kind of venue needs to exist. The sound was a bit a problem sometimes as we could not hear enough the singer but still it's a nice venue as the staff is friendly.
Lovely grassroots venue with an industrial vibe, run by a passionate crew,
A great evening of live music and very happy people. Great venue.
Fun and friendly place which supports the community and serve coffee by day then rock out and drink at night. The staff and owners are Bracknell locals, they know the scene well. They are friendly and talkative to anyone who walks in. This place is for late teens to young adults who want a chilled out area with a uni themed vibe. Live music is played out every weekend trying to promote and help local band get recognised and it very cool to be a part of. Come over and check it out.
