Room was clean, nice shower and comfortable, if only double sized, bed. Parking was £1.50 for 24 hours! Staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was OK but not great, hash browns were dry and tasted warmed up. Area was good, close to centre and surrounded by a cinema complex with Nando's nearby. Overall was good and I would go again.
My stay at the Holiday Inn Bradford was a mixed bag. While there were some positive aspects, there were also several disappointments. Check-in started off on the wrong foot with a few hiccups, which was a bit frustrating. However, the friendly staff quickly turned things around and made me feel welcome, which was appreciated. One of the highlights of any hotel stay for me is breakfast, so I was disappointed to find that there were no pancakes or hash browns available, unlike other Holiday Inn locations I've visited. This was unexpected and left me wanting more from the breakfast selection. Another issue I encountered was with the lifts. Only one lift was working during my stay, and it was temperamental at best. This led to some delays and inconvenience when trying to move around the hotel. Overall, while the Holiday Inn Bradford has its strengths, such as the friendly staff, there are definitely areas that need improvement, like the breakfast options and lift reliability. I hope these issues can be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.
Overall, it was a good stay. Carpits were a bit dirty. Sound proofing wasn't quite there, and people could be heard walking and speaking on the floor in the hallways. Got two key cards for entry and another for the lights. Breakfast was good with vegan & halal options. Family rooms were spacious and had all the basics as advertised. Very close to city centre. I would recommend this as a cheaper option if you are looking for a good place to sleep/rest and head out in the morning.
It was absolutely a brilliant stay. Jay was so welcoming and was helpful and, went out of his way for his kind hospitality. He managed everyone with his excellent skills. Above all he was very respectful, polite and well mannered. I shall definitely go back. Not to forget lovely Jayne and Lewis. Thank you all for your great hospitality. The hotel is great. Jay keep up your excellent management skills.
Great spacious and clean room, we had the family room so the sofa was turned into a double bed, big enough for both our children. Great location with a very cheap car park next to it. The only negatives I have is the lighting in the room is just not enough, its really dim as there are no lights on the ceiling, you just make do with the bed side lamps, and one corner light The breakfast as well was just awful, orange juice smelled and tasted funny, and the scrambled eggs were dry and had a really strange texture, the beans were on the coldish side and there weren't any hash browns.
Not bad. Not the best, either. The breakfast is not room service. I loved the rooms, although smaller than the description online. The bathroom is really clean and okay. There was no AC in my room, I was given a fan. The room heating system is functional and good. I loved the ambience and quietness of my room. Most importantly, the view was
6 things that let my stay down 1st my room window wouldn't shut fully so you can hear traffic and wind throughout my stay. 2nd although the bed was nice and bouncy I was struggling to sleep and kept waking uo with back and rib pain which I never get, probably down to the memory pocket sprung mattress I have at home but for lounging on bed ,pillows and bedding Its great. 3rd no parking however there is a few private and multistory car parks surround tgis complex however its a little confusing and the hotel should put a note on there site the best way to park here or even better make a deal with the car parks so we get free parking . My advice is if you are going to park for upto 24 hours and not leave then id recommended using the multistorey car that is attached to the hotel and complex you can just pull up ,get a ticket then when leaving you pay £1.50 contactless payment only just remeber you cant come and go within that 24 as they will keep charging you £1.50 even tho 24 hours hasn't finished , the hotel shpuld have mentioned you could book parking online for £2 for 24 hours and you will get a code which you can use to come and go as much as you like within that 24hour period however the owners of this parking lot have disabled online booking recently for whatever reason so i couldnt benefit from that so had no other choice to keep paying £1.50. If you scan the QR code on entry instead of taking a ticket you can register online for autopay which takes about 10mins so probably best park outside then walk upto it or even better why hasn't the hotel provided this QR code so it makes it easier for us? once you register online you don't need to take a ticket the camera will detect your registration ,open the gates then leaving it will calculate the cost £1.50 per visit or per 24 hour automatically take payment and open the barrier so no messing about, i took a ticket on my 1st visit but also scanned QR code then when in hotel i registered and when I left I had to use contactless payment because I took a ticket then after that on entering the carpark again autopay was activated because I didn't take a ticket this time. PS. Its best to use level 4 as the exit will lead you to the hotel , its about 6 buses lengths away from level 4 exit door to hotel . If you dont mind walking up some long stairs that on the side of the multicarpark or walk into the multicarpark and use the lift to level 4 you can use the SIP outdoor car park which is next door to the multicar park on george street which is £2.50 for 12 hours or £3.50 for 24hours,you pay once and come and go as much as you like in those times which would of been better for me as I don't mind walking. The other 2 small and medium car parks on vicar Road are not really worth it unless you use the small one which is similar distance from level 4 multistorey car park to the hotel just so you can check in then leave. 4th no scramble eggs at all , whoever orders them in didn't account for days like today where there supplier couldn't get them although every cash n carry around the areas was fully stocked with eggs , if I was a manager here I would of just picked a few crates locally just to keep customers happy , so many people were complaining. 5th halal sausages and muffins were very very very dry like they were left out for display for 2-3 days 6th around 9pm I wanted to go cineworld next door then found out the last showing of all tge movies they has was around 8pm ,not hotels fault Other than those things I really enjoyed the hot shower ,the view nice from my room watching all the cars and world go by , there was a little sofa to chill on , kettle tea/coffee, hairdryer, iron & iron board, little desk to do some work. If I had to add anything I'd add a safe , some biscuits & change the little bedside lights bulbs from blue/white to relaxing yellow colour. Also some wall plug sockets near the bed. Would I come back..... All things considered I would as long as the price remains £50 or under
I live right next door to this place and i have to say im impressed with the cex room. I was with my daughter and we had a splendid time she she said it was huge. I really really loved the food nom nom as i am a human but i must say a lot of nice people and the hotel staff offered me bj cause they like my size i finished in like 2 seconds because they were amazing
Just stayed one night!guy at front desk very welcoming...room on 4th floor... feels secure, you need to use your card to get on the corridor once out of the lift. Typical holiday inn really...Rooms: 4/5
Absolutely fantastic…………. From check in to check everything was just perfect. Clean rooms, clean environment and great breakfast.
