The location is great as it's in the town centre but there's currently road works taking place so it makes it hard to get there or leave to other places. Rooms are big enough and nice. They have iron and ironing board as well. Has tea though no biscuits. Bathroom was good too. There's paid parking nearby. I was told the hotel offers 20% parking discount but even though they validated my card, I had to pay the full amount in the parking. Very good price for a 4 star hotel Walkability: Very near town hall, main theatre and eating places.
It was a lovely friendly place to stay. They looked after us especially my mum. Who needs help. Food was delicious on the night even the breakfast too. But the downside was our bedroom was on the main road so you heard everything cars speeding people arguing. Also car park facilities lights stayed on all night and they were bright. Apart from that everything was splendid. Rooms: The room was clean and fresh a really big bed and a single bed a TV kettle for cups of tea or coffee which is perfareded a wardrobe and a dressing table a iron. Bathroom with a shower. You can't go wrong. Food & drinks: Food was delicious . You could choose what you wanted. Different varieties of food. They've got varieties of beers also a bit expensive though and you only could pay on card. The lager's they had were stella Becks and Corona extra on drafts. The Corona tasted better on drafts than the bottle's.
Stayed for a work trip. The rooms are very basic and need to be cleaned better in part the bathrooms. There is a lot of dust everywhere. Reception staff were very efficient and friendly. Bar/Restaurant is incredibly slow and the staff member seemed mostly confused. Not sure if he's new? Food came out delayed and did not look like what we're expecting my colleagues food had to be sent back and she ordered something else.
Stayed fir 2 night with husband in March 23, food was very bad, service at reception bad. Only good thing about this hotel was the 1 member of staff at the bar Amie who was well presented and accommodating running everything with no other member of staff in sight. rest of workers looked messy and unprofessional. They were very dismissive and borderline rude and when we asked for anything at reception. I rang reception 3 times and no answer, when I did get one it very short and unhelpful. English is not our first language so we felt like they just didn’t care to try to understand our concerns at reception. We stayed again last month and even worse than the first, won’t come again although the location is ideal for the Alhambra which is across the road. Do not recommend. Rooms were very standard and could have been a lot quieter as a group of people next door were playing music at early hours. Need change of chef.
This hotel is filthy. Not only in places that are hard to clean but also in pretty easy places like.... The floor. Having to wait to check in to find a spotless room is one thing. Having to wait to check into a room that's clearly hardly been touched in a while is something completely different. If it's a choice of staying here or sleeping in a box then stay here. If you have any other option then run, run like the wind.
Excellent room, service and location. Has issue with noise after midnight from people who clearly don't have the respect I have for others. Complaint dealt with efficiently and promptly by staff. Mine was a business stay and maybe not the right hotel for me. Shame as staff were magnificent.
Brilliant in all aspects. Handy for everything in central Bradford, comfy bed, spacious room, no noise and throughout our 2 night stay - last Friday and Saturday nights- we met the most lovely and friendly staff who always had time for a chat. Well recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Booked late, arrived late, fantastic service. Great room, fabulous location for the Alhambra! Clean, well maintained, everything you could want. The best choice for the Alhambra Theatre, just yards away.Rooms: 4/5
The finest hotel in the centre of Bradford without doubt. Well located within a short walk of the majority of the cities attractions, shopping, restaurants and bars along with the main railway and bus interchange The hotel is modern, clean and well appointed with good television and speedy Wi-Fi. The customer service is of the highest order with us receiving a warm welcome and excellent service throughout the stay.
Overall good experience. Would definitely consider this hotel in the future. Ilona receptionist thank you for the swift check out process and looking after our stuff while we waited for taxi.Rooms: 5/5
