Very rude staff, threatened to throw my freind out the cinema for simply asking a question. The seats smell of urine and the customer service is very very poor. Twenty minutes to take my order for an extremely poorly made milkshake. I am disappointed, I was targeted for my passport photo and had to show more id insinuating that I am a catfish.
THANK YOU to all the staff at Cineworld. We received a warm welcome from everyone and they could not have been more helpful in catering for our needs. We were most impressed and will definitely be visiting again. We had a most enjoyable evening. .
worst cinema experience ever. felt very discriminated against & the staff did everything in their power to make us feel uncomfortable and inferior to them. also very poor customer service & got told i would get thrown out of the cinema for simply asking a question. absolutely do not recommend this cinema to anybody, not even my worst enemy.
Cheap tickets but the cinema is a let down. The lights don't turn off during the film so it's bright inside and the spotlights above you shine into your eyes. The screen is small and the projector does not even fill up the screen. And lastly there is no surround sound, it sounds more like a cheap soundbar on a TV than a cinema. Disappointing.
We bought cinema tickets and went to watch a movie and have a good time. As soon as we walked into the movie the Magee Adam said we were not welcome to watch the movie for some odd reason and threatened to remove us. He shouted in our faces and made us feel intimidated in front of everyone. He insisted we leave and return at another day. We asked for our money back and he said he will not give us a money. The manager adam is a rude ignorant individual who should not be allowed to tray customers in such a way. Looking at the reviews about him and the staff I should have never come. I will avoid this cinema in the future
zero stars from me! i have never felt so discriminated in my life! the employees were very rude adam who told us he is the manager made us feel very discriminated and uncomfortable. we walked into the movie and 5 minutes into it pulled us out with no valid reason apparently being loud we were falsely accused with 5 different reasons. seems like the employees do not know what they’re doing. absolute disgrace. i will never return again..!!
It is one of the only cinemas that have South Asian movie listings in the area. However, my experience here has been a mixed bag - why? The Positive Aspects + Large cinema 16 screens with plenty of movie listings. + Great location - there are plenty of places to park nearby and plenty of places to eat too there’s a Nando’s right outside! + Ticket prices are generally good - a standard adult cinema ticket, at the time of this review, is £5.99. The Not-So-Positive Aspects - The cinema is severely understaffed - just getting popcorn in a queue with just one person in front of you, can take upwards of 15 minutes come with ample time!. Genuinely slow service. - Avoid queuing at the tills - prebook your tickets if you can! - The cinema facilities are old and dilapidated as seen in the review pictures. Also, the cinema seats are not very comfortable. - There is an ice-cream stand in the lobby - but in my experience - it’s rarely manned - I have consistently not been able to buy myself any.
Desolate, soul less foyer with just 2 staff members, self-service ticket machines not working, only place to buy a ticket was at the concessions counter. I'm surprised I didn't see tumbleweed rolling through. The good news is that being unable to buy a ticket, I was told the film had been cancelled any way. For any entertainment it appears necessary to travel to Manchester or Leeds. Oh well I expect it'll be sorted for 2025.
I have been regular visitor with my family to Cineworld Bradford for years. The staff team are hardworking and friendly. One in particular went above a beyond when I forgot my bank card and actually paid for our visit - it was truly the kindest gesture I have ever experienced and just one my son and I will never forget.
Been there a couple of times now and the cinema is clean and not so crowded. Prices for tickets are really reasonable. The only let down is that you have to pay for parking as they don’t compensate the parking if you’ve been to the cinema before 6.30pm. After 6.30pm you can get your parking for free. However, a good experience both times that I went.
