I really enjoyed my stay here! We got the diamond package and the butler service was beyond exceptional! The rooms were nice and all of the activities were fun. The breakfast buffet was great but the room service food was okay at best. However, the restaurants around the resort definitely made up for the room service food. All of the people working on the resort were super friendly and were there to assist us whenever needed for whatever we wanted and the drinks were great as well. I will most definitely come back here again soon!
Went to Jamaica in April/May for the first time. I went with my husband for his birthday. We stay at the Hilton rose hall, and we had the best time ever. It was an all inclusive. We had no problem.Everything was on point. The staff was amazing. The place was clean and well maintained. The food was great. I will definitely visit again. Rooms: Room was clean and up to date. Safety: Felt safe in the area. Food & drinks: The resort have some great restaurants inside. Every night we had a different cuisine.
Really had a great time. The staff is great and the grounds are beautiful. Hotel is older but nicely renovated. Being a smaller hotel means almost never a wait for an elevator and the grounds never seemed crowded. Rooms are comfortable and clean although the bathroom was too small for the door to open all the way. The lazy river is great, beach is beautiful, water slides were fun, and never much wait at any of the bars. We were very impressed with the food. Make dinner reservations when you arrive.
Stayed here 4 nights during our trip to Jamaica. The buffet food was great and felt the food at the restaurants in the premises were okay. Staff was friendly including room service and spa was amazing tip: look for deals. My kids 3 and 6 absolutely loved the water activities. The only problem I came across was the room which is extremely outdated including flush that doesn't work properly, peeled paint, rust etc. Overall an amazing stay with the exception of the room quality.
I stayed at Hilton Rose Hall from August 19th to 26th. Pros: Best food I've ever had at a hotel, not only was the food delicious the options were endless. The inclusion of authentic Jamaican cuisine was wonderful. The buffet was so good that I didn't even try the restaurants. I was pleasant amazed with the numerous options available at the buffet and just the authentic Jamaica flavors. Staff was amazing for the most part, extremely hard working and very friendly. Cons: Entertainment was very lackluster, I see the team trying but the nightly events for boring. The reggae and Jamaica nigh needs to be a little more upbeat and fun. Properties needs renovation, doesn't seem like this property ever did any form of renovations. The gym, rooms, staircase all need lots of work done. Staffing- property seems very under staffed, buffet need more servers which will allow the staff to be more engaging. Rooms: Needs a face lift, renovations are needed immediately. Hotels are no longer giving you keys to open doors, your key is in you wrist brand and don't need to pay extra for it. Need to provide bed slippers in the rooms. Food & drinks: Best food I have ever had at a hotel. I'm not too much of a drinker so can't really comment on the drinks. The burger places, pizza and jerk hut were also very delicious Noteworthy details: Loved the 7am morning 5k walk, the trainers said it is 5k but it's more like 7k. It was absolutely amazing, the views while walking gorgeous.
Our family of eight enjoyed a delightful 7 night stay at The Hilton Rose Hall Montego Bay. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel to others. The meal choices in the various restaurants were delicious. Breakfast was a wonderful way to start our days, The beach, the pool, the lazy river, the slides were a huge hit. The cabanas by the pool and the beach provided a great spot to take a nap and recharge for more swimming.We commend the management and staff for always being responsive and welcoming. Kudos to Front desk team and manager Shakira,and others, staff- Andre, Huntley, Preston, Herman, Adrian, Chef Rohan, just to name a few. Great job Team, keep up the excellent work.
This is a beautiful place. Everyone here was so nice. Everything is kept cleaned. There are so many things to do for all ages. There are 2 different pools, one with the lazy river. They have games, events, and nightly entertainment, along with a bar, spa, gift shop, and a few different restaurants. There's a little bakery that has ice cream, pastries, muffins, coffees, and Jamaican patties. There's a buffet that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A few of my favorite things were the Jamaican patties, which they had beef and chicken. Both tastes great. Jerk chicken, mango. I had several different types of fish. All of this tasted so good and was so fresh. There's so much more that I didn't even mention. Four days was not long enough. We will definitely be back.
My family had a fantastic time at Hilton Rose Hall! The location is only 15 minutes from the airport. Take a taxi for $35. We enjoyed the food. Especially the authentic Jamaican cuisine that was served daily at the buffet. While on the beach we enjoyed beef patties at Mangos and jerk chicken at The Jerk Hut. The beach is beautiful with lots of seating and shaded areas. We did not have any problems finding seating near the beach. The waitresses were polite and offered us cold drinks while on the beach. We also took a fun ride on the catamaran. There were activities during the day and entertainment at night. We do not have any complaints about our room. It was cleaned daily, water temperature was great, bed was comfortable. I highly recommend Hilton Rose Hall for your vacation to Jamaica. Rooms: AC worked great! Nearby activities: You must go on an excursion to Dunn’s River Falls. It was about a 1-2 hour drive. Be sure to bring water shoes. Safety: We felt safe while at the resort.
This was our second time staying here. Here's what we love about this place: The size of this resort is great for letting the kids have a little more freedom, there are some pretty good food options on the resort, it's a short trip from the airport, most of the people working there were very nice, kids love the lazy river and the pools and we liked that they were open at night, and they do a good job with entertainment. As for the bad: We ran into a few rude workers that clearly did not want to be there, the buffet is just OK, and the rooms seem pretty bare and worn. We liked it enough to come twice, and would recommend to families with kids 6-12.
Great place for a family vacation. The hospitality is on point. Food options are amazing and the pools are perfect to relax in. Even the beach section is perfect to just lay back and float in. The staff on the resort makes sure you have a great time and feel comfortable. There are plenty activities and shows to keep you busy and there is also a kid care on resort unfortunately i did not get a chance to use it. Highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to spend a relaxed Caribbean vacation in this part of the world.
