An interesting experience.
Restaurant Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful.  Breakfast selection excellent!

Housekeeping Staff were very polite.

The Manager on duty was rational, patient and to an extent without his approach I may have checked out hours after checking in.  

Reception Staff were aloof and indifferent.  Offered no help with the luggage.
Gym Staff were unhelpful and unaccommodating.  

Family room was a good size and very warm.  Well done!

For staff it might be worth considering diversity training, an unbiased approach to customer care which embraces all nationalities.  In general if staff can try and wear a smile this would be a step in the right direction.

Decent amount of parking although it's £6 for guests. Friendly welcome at check in. Spacious room. On site pool is good but look out for the family swim times. You are also limited to a 45 minute family swim at busy times. Room is OK but bathroom is poor, dirty shower curtain and mold around taps. Mattress also in need of replacement. Breakfast was good, decent selection and the waffle maker was a good addition for the kids. Generally this hotel is TIRED and in serious need of a refurb. Stay was OK but wouldn't go back.

We were treated like VIPs from arrival to departure. The Chef and restaurant staff were especially helpful. I left some clothes behind and housekeeping located it and agreed to send it to me. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you.

Overnight stay with a lovely room and visit to the spar. It was my birthday and the reception staff organised some snacks and a small bottle of wine for the room. Thank you great time.

Lobby was well presented and the bar and cafe had a nice variation. Check in/out was smooth. The event hall we were in was functional, though furnishings were starting to show their age. Christmas meal was ok, turkey was nice but the proportion between meat and trimmings were off; not enough trimmings. The room was a good size, but sound insulation was poor as voices from the corridor carried result into the room.
