Stocksbridge 3rd summer camp !!! Many thanks to all the team at hesley fantastic weekend from start to finish ,activities ran like clockwork,staff and instructors more than helpful for any eventuality! Campsite perfect/showers toilets/ certainly no complaints from the stocksbridge 3rd scout groups . This is our second Annual Tibetan community  picnic celebrated here. Children and parents and friends all together around 100s. Tents,  rented rooms , halls and cooking ,eating ,sharing works and having fun together.  Big kitchen with all the facilities oven ,microwave, fridges ,store room ,cuttelaries for us to us. Tom who was the DJ also provided us with firewood for the camp fires . Entertainment in the evening was also fun especially for children and parents by Tom .

Great day out for the family and a group of friends. Good honest outdoor fun Kids really enjoyed all the climbing, shooting and even axe throwing! No unnecessary H&S rubbish, kids came away dirty and with a scuff or two but most ok of all thoroughly happy! And tired ;-

Always a good time at Hesley.  I've been going since i was 6 years old. Main toilets are good, and although rudimentary the top toilet block is much more convenient in the dead of night.  Activities for the kids are excellent. Plenty of choice, lead by experienced instructors and always fun! The sites are Hammock friendly for those enclined and tge alter fires provided are more than enough to keep a large group warm  Prices are fair for camping, a few quid a night per person.

Great site and fantastic helpful staff to assist with the booking, organisation etc. We visited with 80 Beavers/Cubs/Scouts and it was perfect

A fantastic facility right on sheffield's doorstep.  The grounds are lovely,  the staff are very helpful and there are exciting and challenging activities. A great place for a cub camp

Great scout camp site Fabulous range of activities on site Good reception welcome and service Some of building look a little tired but do the job required Easy to find Easy parking and access for equipment Have used this site for scout troop many times and will continue to do so. Great pricing too

Absolutely fantastic day doing winter wonder land lots to do and the camp fire was great my son loved it. The only downfall is there is no kids food

Son had a fab weekend with his scout troops,  so many new activities and well kept facilities.
