We are an established family run business of 50+ years, offering MOT's, Servicing, Repairs and Air Conditioning. Priding ourselves on honesty & quality.

Story

Based in the heart of Whitnash from the late 50’s and in the same family ownership from the early 60’s right through to the present day, supported by fully qualified vehicle technicians who have remained with our company for many years.
We have stayed strong in many challenging times by keeping customer service and a professional attitude at the forefront of everything that we do in our ever evolving business.
We believe that an honest approach to our customers has served us well over the years, whilst our competition has come and gone.

Great service and communication from the team. Took my care there last week for a service and to sort out a problem another garage couldn't. All done efficiently and very reasonably priced. Took my van there this week for a perceived fuel problem, they went through everything they could, couldn't find a problem and put my mind at ease. Didn't charge even when I offered to pay for their time. Will most definitely be using again.Service: Auto maintenance
Its my first experience using Heathcote Auto Services, even after living in the local area for 5 years. Used several automotive establishments in the area with some very bad quality and diabolical customer service. This wasn't the case this time..... Well I'm very happy with the service at Heathcote Auto Services, and an very happy to recommend them. The work taken on was gearbox to driveshaft seal leaking. The work carried out was to replace that leaking seal. They ended up replacing both left and right side for me. Which is good practice and the right thing to do with gearbox seals. And not just the one that was leaking. Being a aircraft maintenance engineer myself, I could have carried out the work. But with the cold weather I decide to passed it on to somebody in a warm workshop. And so decided I'd give Heathcote Auto Services ago, after the good reviews on Google. I did check the work done before I refitted the under tray on the car. Which I removed before the work at home. But thats the nature of being an inspector All the work was carried out as I'd have done myself, so very happy with the work they have carried out. Also on collecting the car and paying the invoice, there was some advice on items they had seen while carry out the work. The information was all on the invoice. Again shows good practice and how they treat customers cars in their care. So yes you can trust these reviews. They are right and get 5* from me Update 21-7-22 Well yet again I can't emphasise the praise to this company and the guys that work there. A small issue with my car which they work on for me and fixed. Fantastic customer service for me and my car. Which is a 5Star service to me. When you find a local company that work like they do. And I'm a very critical person. I will tell people. So if you've got an issue with your car and feed up with dealer prices. Plus wish to support local companies.Then this is the place to go for your vehicle. Thank you again guys........

Had my parking sensor need pulling back through the bumper due to a small bump. They were available within a week and only took them 1 hour to sort it all out. VW quoted me £300 just to remove the bumper and would take 2 hours. Great mechanics very friendly will 100% be using them again in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Excellent service! I contacted HAS this morning after my father in law recommended them. I asked if they could squeeze me in for an MOT as it was due to expire on 8th Oct but today was the only day I was working from home I work over an hour away. They got me in and I got my car back this afternoon. Thank you for running an excellent service! You now have a new customer. Very well priced and the staff were so professional and friendly! Would highly recommend!
Booked the car in for a full service and was called soon after dropping the car off that only an interim service would be necessary. Great to find an honest local mechanic who helped me save a bit of money. Would recommend this place to all. EDIT: Since then I've also had an MOT there where they uncovered a problem with a simple fix, and took care of it. You may pay a fraction more than nationwide chain mechanics, but it's worth it with the service they give.
