2 of us went for some dinner on a Friday evening. Food was outstanding for the price. The pig and whistle had a great atmosphere, was well presented the staff where on point. The menu was varied, relaxed and tasty. Would definitely recommend eating there and worth a journey.

We took our 2 dogs to the Pig & Whistle today. It is the first time we have ever been. We enjoyed a really lovely meal and our 'kids' really enjoyed their turkey casserole from the dog menu. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and we would recommend it to anyone, particularly fellow dog lovers. We will visit again.

Excellent food, booked table for 18 adults and 3 children. It seemed the staff were a little confused regarding the drinks orders. The poor waitress was in and out the 'pub' for the drinks due to the bar being out of action in the dining room. The hotel had an air of ' not quite functioning '. But I must say everyone had a great time and we all enjoyed our lunch very much. Very pleasant staff. Overall a good day. Thankyou.

The room was really clean and tidy, towels were fresh, however the bathroom floor need a bit more attention. We did not have breakfast as it was well over priced at £10.50 each. However we would stay again as the staff were very pleasant and keen to help.

My room was large, with great facilities. I had a lovely evening meal and ate breakfast looking at the beautiful gardens. This was a short but lovely stay, the staff very helpful.
