As a wedding supplier and someone who's been to Healds Hall on more than one occasion, this might sound a little bias. But truthfully, this review is as straight up as they come.nAnyone who looks to book their wedding at Healds Hall will not be disappointed. Believe me we've seen some poorly ran places but this isn't one of them.nFantastic staff Matty, Cara, Bobby, Shirley & the rest of the team are all so lovely and attentive. Weddings are smoothly ran, the hotel is well kept and the grounds are prefect for an intimate wedding. You feel the place is yours and yours alone which is what you should feel like on a wedding day.nWe've just been for a meal as a family there, and can say even as a 'customer' the standard of service is just as good in their restaurant. The food is top notch and the restaurant had good ambience, especially on a Wednesday evening.nPlease don't think this is a review from someone sucking up to the hotel staff, it's absolutely not. We certainly wouldn't book ourselves into a restaurant we weren't sure about if we thought it was going to be poor. It's a quality hotel & restaurant set in lovely little surroundings ran by hard working, nice people.
Room very small meal expensivenWe had a starter each decided to go for the prawns in batter unfortunately they could not be bothered to remove the shell from the battered prawns not very good .we then had the beef with onion and mash arrived eventually stone cold .If you want veg that's not included however you can order a very small overcooked portion for £4.50 each I would not recommend .I have had excellent food at half the price very disappointed after reading the reviews we expected better hence rateing . Oh and if you want a meal on Sunday evening they stop serving at 5 I guess people don't eat on Sunday evenings !!!!!!
I stayed here for four nights with work colleagues whilst on training activity. The hotel itself had lots of character, with modern touches and well laid out. The restaurant and bar staff were fabulous all week including the fantastic Bobby, who was great!nThe menu and food was lovely, with a good variety to choose from. I definitely recommend
I haven’t been in a room myself but I’ve heard good things about them from friends but I know that the service and the location are both great. Food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Would recommend.
My self and my husband had our wedding at healds hall on June 1st 24.nnWe instantly knew that this was the place we wanted to get married. The grounds, the decor as you walked in, how modern yet how old it felt, and most importantly the staff..everything about this venue felt right.nnCara..we cannot thank you enough for every single effort you put into our wedding, you were absolutely INCREDIBLE from the very minute you became our wedding coordinator.nnYou made us feel so important, so looked after and so comfortable all day. You went above and beyond with everything and everyone..we have had so many lovely comments about you, especially from my mum!! And we can’t thank you enough for everything you did for usnnEverything about our special day was amazing, the food was incredible!!! The service couldn’t have been any better, the honeymoon suit, the breakfast the morning after, the organisation of every single thing was just phenomenal.nnWe are so unbelievably happy that we chose to get married at Healds Hall.nnWhat a beautiful day we had, a beautiful wedding and so many beautiful memories to look back on.nnThank you so much from the bottom of our heartsnnKaylie & Gareth
