The food was poorly cooked and cold, I sent some back and was offered a replacement, I declined & had a partial refund. The girl though apologetic wore her long hair down and was constantly touching it, she was serving our food. The bill was over £40 I received around £5 refund. No manager spoke with me just the girl. This isn’t the first time the food has been poor.
Well done to Paul and his team for accommodating 27 of us for a late Sunday dinner, the food was outstanding and plenty of it compliments to the kitchen and the service was exceptional our servers couldn't have been more helpful, and no request was too much for them, very polite, friendly and speedy service, once again Thank You and we can't wait to return
I’m sad to say 1 star. My auntie recommended coming for my partners birthday. Upon booking I was informed of another booking similar in size to ours. With 18 of us I expected a wait of course. 6 meals arrived to the table and then nothing for a further 90 minutes, tickets had gone missing, missing food, incorrect orders, missing sides and dips and then some parts completely inedible. A lot of my family just didn’t eat at all and those that did were extremely unhappy. A new menu had been rolled out the same day nothing of which we had been informed of - and I booked weeks in advance meaning half of the food we actually wanted we were unable to have. With 3 autistic children at our table, two of their meals were incorrect. The assistant manager smashed a glass and left the building and the fantastic young server Callum who handled our huge group alone broke down in tears bless him! Not one member of his team that night consoled him but me and my family.nnWhat was even worse, we weren’t offered anything we had to ask. Apologies from higher up came at the end of the evening and by that point we were the last people there. Sending food back was pointless as the kitchen closed at 8pm and we only just received the last of our missing food at 9pm. Only at the end of the night we were then informed of staffing issues, with communication beforehand we could have quite easily booked somewhere else.
Whenever me and my family are here, we always have a great time and the service is always top quality. The food is lovely and the servers are very polite and there isn't a really long waiting time for the food. Overall this place is a great area to have some food.
Lovely meals, lovely service. Staff very pleasant and friendly, callum our server was brilliant and super friendly.nAlways have great food here. Not expensive and decent pub grub.
