We ordered this Sunday evening to give it a go and we were blown away by the size of the chicken pieces! Below are some photos that should hopefully put this into context.  Seriously struggling to find a bad point about this place as everything was perfect, cannot fault it.  The sauces were super tasty, unsure if home made but definitely go well with the chicken and the chips!  Thanks again!

Really tasty chicken and good variety. Great prices although just gone up with the silly utility price but still a bargain for proper tasty chicken it's 2 or 3 times a week as cheaper than cooking at home. Staff are great and the girls on the counter always lovely and smilingFood: 5/5

First time trying Hennie, food was lovey and tasty, nice service by staff. Feel like it needs a refurb in the shop very old and outdated in there which would make you feel like you wouldn’t want to eat in there. Defo needs money spending on making it look nice in there however can’t complain about the food and service.

Absolutely delighted with customer service and quality of food, ordered chicken wings, homemade milkshake and ice cream. My order arrived 5mis early and delivery driver was a delight with great humour and respect. Would recommend Henie Pennys Cleckheaton to all.

Absolutely shocking! Chicken has an awful aftertaste we think it was off , gravy is like bisto, cold chips. We LOVE Marstons but thought we’d try here as it’s a little closer but never again!!! NOT A PATCH ON MARSTONS.  We went in with 80% of the uneaten food and asked why it tasted off, staff were adamant it was fresh and offered a voucher… refused to refund.  For anyone who love fried chicken, do not go. No idea how this place has the reviews it do REPLY to the shop below… Please don’t insult me, we definitely did come to the Cleckheaton one, you definitely did offer us a voucher

First visit. Enjoyed a chicken wrap. Served hot with fries and tea. Fast service with a smile. Will be returning.Food: 4/5

Portion sizes are huge , prices are affordable, food is DELICIOUS. Staff are so nice and welcoming and the seating area is nice and clean. Will definitely be returning love it !!

I’ve just waited two hours for delivery despite being told 40 minute delivery. Had you been honest about delivery times I wouldn’t have ordered. Also good luke warm and half a portion of popcorn chicken missing. Safe to say we won’t be using you again

Waited 2 hours for for my order and when it came it was cold over cooked an tasteless... No patato in the chips an the chicken was dry.. The batter.... well er yeah... not good.

Came all the way from Derby to eat here and was not disappointed. Great size portions great food and top staff. If it wasn't 80 miles away I'd go every week!
