Food was bad. No where near the quality I have had before. The only nice item I had was the chicken Tikka. The onion Bhajis where dry and full off what look like starch. The samosas where bland. The lamb curry the lamb was dry and rubbery and the sauce was bland and water. The quality seems to have gone down hill the last 2 orders. Wont be ordering again.
The second time I have ordered from here and my wife isn't easy to please as she doesn't like spicy food at all where as I am completely opposite. Spoke to the guys on the phone and completely understanded everything.. Top food again definitely my new curry place. Spot on!
I'VE NEVER HAD A BETTER CURRY! this place is absolutely amazing you can really taste the flavours of the foods you eat and it's so authentic. I was sceptical at first but i've already been 3 times last week! this is definately my new local curry house! if they carry on making food like this i'll be a long standing customer! the food was spectacular, the service was great and the atmosphere brilliant!
A great local gem! The food and service was top quality. Went with the Mrs and kids, they all loved it. I ordered the some seekh kebabs for starters and then chicken tikka masala with naan and a side of chips with some mint sauce; it was so tasty that I could go back there everyday. Great to see Lala back to his best.
I have always enjoyed the food, which is prepared to order. Nothing is too much trouble and I have always felt that I have had great value for money. The onion bhajis are to die for. Not alot of people know that you are welcome to bring your own alcohol even though they have a licenced bar, this makes it a very affordable night out.
Been eating here for years, both in the restaurant and as a takeaway. Great choice, great food and good service. Better than the other much busier indian restaurant in Heckmondwike but don't know why as Spice Cottage is much better. Balti Murgh Jalfrezi is best curry I have ever had at any Indian restaurant anywhere in UK.
Absolutely horrendous, we waited over 2 hours and 30 mins for our order, I wanted to cancel my order this was refused I asked for money back off my order this was refused food was stone cold when arrived, couldn't get in touch with the restaurant. All round shocking and WONT EVER ORDER HERE AGAIN.
Me and my family ordered our meal and their preparation time was awful 2 hours late they also failed to include 2 parts of our order and then when i tried to contact them they never picked up. So they scammed me out of my money and failed me with their awful service.
Pizza came burnt...pizza originaly ordered for two people only one likes garlic sauce and they put the tub in the box and pizza was that hot the tub melted and sauce went over 5 slices rung and told them for the rude phone operator to tell me the amout of sauce they send wouldnt cover the entire pizza so they not gunna resend or refund.... absolutely disgraceful service glad just eat know how to treat a customer here comes a pizza from a good takeaway
Have been a loyal customer for years ordered xtra large donner meat and 2 xtra large mix donners in a tray all three came in the smallest box imaginable and not even half full wouldn't have complained if the was full to the top but Nowt there the boxes was full of grease aswell, cheese burger was fine, it was down on the slip of paper with receipt that they were all large not xtra large aswell rung up to complain guy on the phone was fantastic but it was if he was just agreeing with everything and said he would sort something else out for me for next time sorry to say this but there won't be one
