We are a independent bicycle shop in Cornwall U.K specializing in all types of cycling. We just love bicycles at Hayle cycles, best invention of all time !

Story

We offer a vast range of services from selling you everyday bicycle through to building complete custom bicycles. we have a full workshop facility where we can repair any kind of bicycle. We also have a wheel building service where we can build you a complete new set of wheels or just repair a broken spoke whatever you need we can help you with! please be aware that servicing is on a first come first serve basis and throughout busy periods there may be a short delay in getting your bicycle back to you. we will always try to give a accurate return date and price when your bicycle is booked in for a service. if you have any questions you would like to ask please contact us either by phone or email

My touring bike has had a braking problem since I got the bike. By bike shops in London I was told to change out my pads frequently as the braking performance problem was likely contamination. I’ve spent a lot of money and frustration on this problem. In the space of 5 minutes the wonderful owner/ technician correctly set up my front calliper and I’ve finally have confidence inspiring braking performance. Legend! Thank you.
Walked into the shop this week on holiday. Although clearly busy, the gent could not have been more helpful with my BB issue. Sorted me out with some pedals and got me back on my way. It would be easy to overcharge a holidaymaker just passing but there was no chance with this guy. He's very honest and clearly knowledgeable. 5
I hired a new bike here. Ashley the owner was very helpful and suggested an excellent ride through St Erth, to Marazion, then Penzance and Mousehole. I had a great day out and took many nice pictures along the way.
Great service, had some issues with my bike after unpacking it from my bike bag. I thought the derailleur was out of alignment and had adjusted randomly to try and find the extremities. While super busy, Ash made sure I left with a working bike. I think he felt sorry for my jetlagged state. Turned out my Cassette had moved, not my derailleur. Very reasonable price for fixing this for me. I also rented a fat bike and made the most of the beautiful local beach and sand dunes.
An amazing bike shop, and very helpful! I have had my bike serviced there, and it was reasonably priced, and Ashley was exceptionally helpful telling me what would be needed to keep my bike in the best possible condition, and what he would do before he did it! Very pleased with how the bike has come out now, and it's all very smooth running!

What a great bloke and top bike shop! I had the misfortune to have a cable snap whilst on the coast. Fortunately, he was a few miles away, fitted me in and did a great job for very fair money. Gave some great advice too. If the shop wasn’t 200 miles away, I’d be there every time.
*Best bike shop in the world! Ash is fantastic, helpful and always seems to have what we need. His prices are fair and competitive, and he's got a wealth of knowledge on all things bike-related. Don't go to a chain - support a local bike shop. Hayle is very lucky to have this! *Very subjective opinion, but it's true as far as I'm concerned :
We received amazing assistance today from Hayle Cycles! We are cycling a tandem and had an issue with our brakes. They were happy to check our brakes, adjust them and make sure everything was ok. We then went on our way feeling much happier and reassured. Thank you so much Hayle Cycles.
Popped as my seat post bolt broke off. All fixed in about 15 minutes. Only £1. So I bought a puncture repair kit. As I did not have one on me. Had chains snap and punctures. But never a seat post and saddle issue before. Thanks to Hayle Cycles.
