Went into show room to look for a new car told the salesman we was interested in a new Peugeot 2008 said we would just think about it overnight. Salesman said he would phoned us but he naver did. So went elsewhere a bought a brand new car from seat

Whilst on holiday last week in lovely Cornwall our Shogun developed a serious brake problem. Clive at Hawkins looked after us extremely well and arranged the repairs and provided us with a car so that we could continue with our holiday. Special thanks to everyone at Hawkins who saved our holiday. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hawkins and we only wished we lived closer to them so that we could have our cars serviced by them. Many thanks everyone

DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM THEM!!! I'm not normally one to do this... When picking up I was rushed around the car leaving me unable to properly check for any pre-existing damage. The car was covered in water just after some heavy rain, which would (and evidently did) hide small scuffs. With hindsight I should have spent an hour or two looking at it, drying it with a towel & photographing every detail. I was then charged almost £150 for a tiny (maybe 15mm long and less than 4mm wide – the kind of size that would be very easy to miss) scuff on the edge of the alloy, and an even smaller tear to the tyre, when I know I never hit a curb or done anything that could have cause such minute damage. AN ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL RIP OFF - RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK AND WITH DEEP POCKETS!!!
