My rear brakes went mid ride and hawk were nearby so turned up out of the blue and booked the it in for emergency surgery. They saw to me there and then and It was ready first thing the next day and it rides better than before. Chaps were really helpful and friendly and didn’t try to mug me off, it didn’t cost the earth and they have some absolutely lovely bikes in stock too, the salesman showed me around and let me try out a couple and really knew his stuff. Would highly recommend and will definitely be purchasing my next bike from here.
I have been cycling to work for the past 10yrs, but I'm afraid to say my bike knowledge is very poor, I have been into hawk several times and asked for advice, always so helpful. they have done basic work on the bike, yearly service and they actually tell you what needs doing and do it whilst it's in the shop as in the past other places just take your money and write their findings on a piece of paper which you don't read! Highly recommend
Bought a £500 ladies hybrid bike from this shop in April and they failed to secure the gear cable properly. Fast forward to September and the whole thing came loose and wound around my chain. Took it back as it was a fault of theirs and they basically called my husband a liar and refused to fix it under the warranty. They quoted £26 and we said " no chance" and took it to Halfords to be fitted for £20. We've bought all our bikes from here over the years but won't be buying from them again as they don't honour the warranty on their bikes. Shame on them as my husband was due a new bike and he doesn't buy cheap . I think local businesses should be careful how they treat regular customers but anyway Halfords weill receive our business in future on all bikes and accessories.
Went to try the Dallingridge Harlow e- bike today,can highly recommend,perfect for my requirements,John and Daniel very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, answered all my questions,nothing was too much trouble,they went the extra mile,also thanks to Ethan who got the bike ready and checked before we arrived,many thanks to you all again, highly recommended.
Took my son’s bike to be fixed. Couldn’t be happier. Amazing staff and service. I’m certain my son will trash his bicycle again at least we know where to go!
These guys have been keeping me on the road for longer than I can remember. They did me a super quick job for my broken front wheel today. Brilliant as always.
Took two bikes in to the Netherfield branch that needed repairing unexpectedly and urgently. The service I received was above and beyond. Kept in contact with me, discussed any work and prices prior to performing and did all they could to help with a very quick turn around. Matt and John who helped me are exceptional staff and I will be returning to use again in the future.
My wife and I were looking around a few shops to buy ourselves a pair of bicycles, after seeing the prices at Halford we decided to check this store out. The store clerks were very good, they allowed us to have a look around the store and when we circled back around we were approached and asked if we were looking for anything in particular, we were looking for mountain bikes. The store clerk showed us to their mountain bike range and offered some helpful information and some great recommendations! My wife and I ended up picking a bike each and we are very happy! The store does a full check over and service to the bike to ensure it is all alright and safe, the manager made sure that we knew we had a warranty and that we can also return after a few weeks for a free lookover, which is fantastic. We also brought a bike mount for our car which is great for our days out. We have already used it several times. Our car is quite small so we would have no hope of fitting 2 mountain bikes in it, a very smart purchase I must say. All in all the store clerks were amazingly friendly, very informative, and very professional! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place , for 2 mountain bikes, a car mount and 2 phone holders for our bikes cost us £320 which is a fantastic final price ! Thankyou hawk cycles!
