"Combe Haven in St Leonards-on-Sea, Sussex sits just outside Hastings on the county’s English Channel coast. The park boasts picturesque sea views and has a whole host of features for a great holiday. Places like the indoor pool with a space flume are there for family fun, and there’s an outdoor option for when the weather is warm too. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at the signature Mash and Barrel restaurant, and an indoor SportsDrome will burn off all those extra calories, while the arcade here has a walk-through prize shop to explore. You’re just a stone’s throw from Hastings here, meaning all the amusements and attractions of the seaside favourite are within walking distance from this magnificent park."

Stayed here in May for 4 nights. Thank you so much for the surprise upgrade! We paid for a bronze but we received a silver caravan which was immaculate! The park itself was very clean and well kept. The staff were lovely and helpful. Entertainment was great! All of our expectations were exceeded and we would definitely recommend a visit to others! Thank you to all haven staff who made our visit a wonderful experience!
Fantastic park and security staff! Very friendly and remember who you are from just a brief wave . Park is laid out nicely and clearly right between the seaside and walking paths with the hills which has some lovely wildlife that can be seen at night!! We have had a great time and the caravans are amazing quality especially for the price you cannot go wrong! 100% we will be coming here again next summer! :
I'm from London.. its lovely either one you go too all pretty standard.. staff where lovely had no issues, for some reason more security in the entertainment than other havens, not sure if that's to do with the 'audience' they have ..or the timing of holiday and the people that choose to go away when we did, or if it's the area ..you can book all your sessions on the app for this place..a nice amount to choose from ..not hundreds but enough to entertain the kids.. not may activities for toddler age group. Older kids 7+ more options.
Went last year forgot to review .. Brilliant caravan for the price I paid I got a weekday deal caravan had decking and 2 mins walk to main bit, was 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Although we couldn’t work out the heating and was very rainy. very good location beautiful views of the seabut the floor was like carpet and was dirty and we didn’t have hoover so I had my month old baby with me and my 2 other children 3&4 for a little break so that made me bit anxious but other than that was lovely, managed to book some activities, didn’t try the restaurant as I’m a bit fussy with food and the reviews weren’t great. Arcades can get bit boring after a while and was not hot enough for swimming outside, swimming inside had to be booked and they said no shoes walking through but all the workers were walking through with shoes making the floor very dirty? Was very busy in there and there isn’t like a children's only section. We got fish and chips from the local one bottom of road was nice not amazing, food in side Burger King and papa johns very expensive but the local Co op shop is good! Has anything you can think you would need. It was a bit quite for June in terms of the outside food trucks were closed and the Ice cream vans not open. Took a trip to the beach but there isn’t a pier with arcades or food there was nothing open we had to go into the town to eat. Entertainment Lounge was very busy in evenings bit overwhelming, Good activities for kids ages 6-11 I would say and my kids only could do 2/3 activities in there age range, play areas very good there’s a few around, my kids said they loved it anyway so we was happy and lovely caravan and service ! Thank you
Lovely, clean and well kept holiday park. Staff really friendly. Burger King & Pizza delivery direct to caravan via the Haven Serve app. Lots of amenities both on site, and very close by off-site. Nearest beach is Bulverhythe Beach dog friendly which is less than a mile away.
Great place to go but was let down by one activity. The air gun activity should have different sessions if you have previous experience. The instructor on this occasion didn't care and he's safety to us was ok but for his own safety walking down range whilst others where shooting is a big H&S Issue. We shot 6 pellets each so worked out to £2 a pellet. Definitely not worth the price for this activity. Caravans where nice and clean
Great entertainment, great location, plenty for the kids to do. The security team is brilliant. My toddlers kept foing a runner, and if they got out of the entertainment area before I could reach them, the security guards would follow them till I got there. This was a huge peace of mind for me. My caravan looked great, but as the days went by, I came across some issues; the curtains weren't secured properly and kept falling off the rails, which became a fun game for my two year olds. We didn't take any pets and ended up in caravan where the carpet was smothered with dog hair. Make sure you request one that no pets have stayed in if you have allergies. I suggest you take your own pillow case protectors as they don't use them. I dread to think how many heads had been on my pillow prior to myself. There is an extremely steep hill within the park. So if you have someone who struggles with walking, either request to be located on top of the hill or be prepared to drive to the main complex.
Been a great time here, so many positive points but just a few that caused me to knock a star off, First the good points, the whole place is clean and tidy and well laid out. Plenty of little play parks and the pool is a good size. There are plenty of activities and entertainment options to keep the kids entertained aswell. The table service in the bats and restaurants as well as the caravan ordering options through the app are great. Now the minor niggly moans, firstly the paths don't seem to connect that well and I often find myself walking on the roads ornon the grass as the paths just stop and I did find the floors in the changing rooms a little dirty but that was because of the amount of people being ignorant of the no out door shoes signs. The staff do spend time cleaning the floors but this could be mitigated more by actually stopping by people walking in with shoes on. Overall it's great Playground: Plenty of little playgrounds sprinkled around the entire site Restrooms: All the toilets I have used have been clean and tidy and not at all smelly
We have visited 4 Haven Holiday parks with our 2 dogs, this was our favorite! We had a bronze caravan which was the perfect size, nice large lounge and kitchen area. The main double bedroom at the back was the biggest we've had, we were able to have our dog crate comfortably in the room. The parking is rows of spaces instead of right next to the caravan which was better as when it's rained and the grass is sodden there's no worry about getting your car stuck. The beach is walkable, there is an Aldi 5 minute drive away. Rooms: Spacious and clean, very impressed. Walkability: The beach is walkable. All of the places we visited with the dogs were up to an hours drive. Not sure there was much to be able to sit walk to other than the beach. Noteworthy details: It's worth noting though there is a co-op style shop on site it's not the best. It's more for snacks, toys etc. It was a struggle to find things to make dinners which we've done at previous Havens. Though there is a fish & chip truck £11.95 for regular cod with chips there is also a Burger King & Papa Johns if you like to stay on site. Dog-friendliness: Our dogs were very welcomed, they had a little pack of poop bags and a few treats. Saw plenty of dogs walking around the caravan site which was lovely. All responsible owners as I saw no dog poop lying around which was great!
We had a lovely short break, in a disabled van that was very clean and keep in great condition. The site was tidy, clean and had a nice atmosphere. Staff were pleasent whenever you spoke to them, this includes security, cleaners and reception. The pool staff are helpful too and over at the airspace you can have great fun with rolling and virtual cage batting highly recommend it.. The club house has some very nice and modern arcades, everything was working, ticket machines too and a large store to buy from. Onsite food is a little high Papa and the mini mart has everything you need from bakery to booze to filling ur van fridge freezer and rows of toys sweets and treats. Club house is big bright and colourful and modern. This is where you want to be for your evenings and the entertainment was fun, kids have lots of fun first with games on stage a bit of dancing before we get to enjoy our live act, for me a band sing 80's and 90's great fun and following day a crooner up some frank sinatra style perform great voice... Don't for get to use the haven serv app so much quicker to get your food and drink. A little concern was the visit to the Saxon club house for me it looked like it had been forgotten, small dull and not a lot to offer when u just come from the lounge could hve been a one off but the kids arcade pool area would bore you in 5mins sorry. Overall a great place to stay and relax Checkout - Munch Cafe, the Catch and in hasting Yates. Booked 2nd haven visit already for July in sandy bay look out for this review too...
