Circa is so much more than a steak house! The food was outstanding (as was the service) - this was the best meal I’ve had out in Exeter and we eat out a lot. Our friends who were with us thought so too - congratulations chef! The bar upstairs with live music was really good too - we had a great night out and I can’t recommend it highly enough - you just have to go there.......

Apprehensive start as experienced bad service from unfriendly staff members before, unfortunately to our disappointment we experienced the same terrible attitude from a particular staff member on our recent visit. Felt very unwelcome, over priced drinks & no atmosphere. Will never visit again.

Great place to eat. Friendly / helpful staff. Nice starters and main meal. £20/27 mains. Mainly steak, some fish dishes. I had duck leg which was good.

Finally went for a lunch time meal here, after walking past for quite some time, and regret not going in sooner. Set away from the restaurant scrum on Queens Street this is a restaurant where you will get a quality meal. Lunch for two was £50 and was worth every penny. Yes I will be going back.

Very bad experience. The service is really bad. The waiter in upstairs with beard didn't ask us about how well was that beef, however, the whole sharing beef was really over over cooked, we can't even eat one piece of this one!!! Really bad experience!!!
