A wonderful big park for all the family. Lots of paths to wander. Play area for the kids. A few bench’s around the lake to rest. Beautiful flowers. There are designated areas where you can let your dog off lead as there is also a nature reserve. There’s a large car park that closes at 9pm
Great park for walking the dog! So big that even in a busy Saturday morning you don't feel overcrowded by others!! Love trying all the different routes and cut-throughs! Playground: Small, but enough. A few pieces of equipment, enough to keep a small group of kids occupied for 30-60 mins. Dog-friendliness: Really, really dog-friendly! Plenty of bins around, loads for dogs to smell which exhausts our high-energy boy!! Love it! Picnic area: Loads of grass for picnics. Can't remember seeing any picnic tables. A few seat benches to sit and have a cuppa on.
Lovely open fields with quaint gardens, ponds and even an orchard. Nice spot for an evening picnic in the summer. Also had great playground for the kids and even a few tennis courts. Preston Council keep the grounds in great condition. Lots of dogs around and it seems that there is no issue with letting your dogs off-lead, there were lots running around when we were there. The park is enclosed by fences and hedges, so you don't have to worry about your pup running into the streets.
Nice place with wide open spaces and lots of mature trees. Canal runs alongside
A great park good for dog walkers and brilliant for families with young children, has a renovated play park and the pond is great for feeding the ducks
Great dog walking Park! With paths onto Lancaster canal, wooded areas, a stream and expansive playing field there's every terrain for your dog & a lovely route that you can make as long or short as you want. Be careful of the swans on the canal, they don't like dogs
Great walk with the dogs. Nice park for younger kids and a football enclosure for the older kids.
A park with lots of potential. Huge place to walk and enjoy but spoilt by lack of planting, overgrown borders and lots and lots of litter!! Come on Preston council..
Disabled toilets available 24/7 if you're disabled and have a disabled key. Love the accessibility! Spotless on the inside too, definitely no illegal activities or abuse occuring in here! Disabled people, please close the door to make sure we have a safe and clean space to use thank you!
Its a typical park kind of thing, but pond side is more calm, and beautiful. Once, you visit this place you feel relax.*stress buster*
