One of the best parks in Preston, with two great play areas for children. The Serpentine Lake and surrounding space used to feel a bit shady, but recent renovation work has really opened it up. The BMX track and nearby PNE FC stadium add to its appeal. However, even after the BBC Radio event in 2024, I still feel it hasn’t quite regained its former glory.
I love coming here to use the tennis court, although it's often in use. The whole park often gets used for sports like cricket and football; You'll also see a lot of dog walkers so if you're looking for somewhere to walk your dog I'm sure this'll be more than enough.nnOverall I love playing badminton here as the trees provide great protection from any wind and people are always considerate not to walk through us.
Taylors Funfairs were in the City for the Easter Funfair 2025 at Moor Park as part of their North West tour and it was fantastic. Hope they return soon because it was a great Fair and Moor Park was a brilliant setting. Happy Easter everyone and enjoy yourself if attending Moor Park for this very good Fair.
A lovely park for various activities to keep your mind and body active.nIt has a kids playground, basketball courts, adjacent tennis courts not within the park, fields suitable for cricket, a small pond, paved paths and lots of grass and trees.nIt can be cold when it is windy especially in open areas of the park where wind isn't broken by trees.
Highly recommended. This is a great neighborhood park! It is a serene environment and it’s easy to locate. Lovely place for a walk, you can sit and appreciate nature. It’s dog friendly so you’ll likely see a few dog owners with their fur babies. There’s a play area for kids unfortunately I didn’t take photos of the play area, there are cafes within the park too so you can grab your coffee on the go.
