I don’t leave feedback as a rule but in this case I think credit is deserved to be given. As an ambulance driver I visit many homes of various standards. Yesterday I took a patient to Harley Grange and the care the three cares gave was excellent. They were cheerful and made the patient feel at home. We took the patient in on a stretcher which meant she had to be moved onto a wheelchair by the use of a lift which can be very uncomfortable and distressing for the patient but these ladies moved her with ease and with little or no discomfort. Very professional.
Very poor experience with Harley Grange. My elderly grand mother was admitted here temporarily to allow her broken leg to heal. After just 1 day she was already feeling very anxious, upset, and didn't want to be there. She lost her appetite, and was being tended to infrequently.nnWithin 1 week of being at Harley Grange her health declined rapidly and she was sent to Leicester Royal Infirmary with a chest infection. The doctor's prognosis was that she may have hours to days to live and that she likely wouldn't survive the hospital admission. Thankfully two weeks later she is better, however, the entire situation probably would have been avoided had she not been admitted to Harley Grange.
Harley Grange is a great care home. It fanatastic. My Grans been in the carehome for about 2 years, and has improved so much. The carers are lovely and they really do care. Our family feels very lucky that the care of our gran os in theor hands. We see the same varers oan a regular basis, the manager is amazing the activity's are great along with Nicki the activty lady with regular things going on in the living/dining room. Great homely atmosphere clean and very fresh. Its just a delight. I would highly recomend.
Poor I do not recommend this home poor staffing poor cleanliness food minute, my 5 year old eats twice as much
Brilliant place. Cared for my Nan for 3 years and the care is Brilliant along with all staff.
