Great location in centre of Sedgefield with small bar and nice restaurant on site. Also very convenient for several other bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfy rooms although in need of a bit of TLC. Nice breakfast. Would definitely recommend.Rooms: 4/5
Only had drinks. Good service and a great atmosphere generated by excellent music and very friendly customers. Walkability: Good location at the T Junction of Sedgefield Village Center.
Ok for the price. Service was in no way warm or welcoming. Breakfast was good but felt there was a meaness with restricting customer to one cup of tea - no juice provided.Rooms: 3/5
Very nice, very clean and roomy hotel. Oliver the breakfast. Staff are very friendly and ready to help. I, unfortunately, left an item behind as I was rushing, so arranged a collection to retrieve it. When I asked the staff , if they could package it for me, they accepted it without any hesitation. So grateful. Thanks to the hotel staff.
Claims its a sports bar. I watched 80 minutes of the football game this evening only for it to be turned over to motor racing. The owner / manager was not interested and said he preferred the racing. Avoid if you want to see a full game at tje expense of tje owners whims.
Visited tonight for the first time in over a year, it only had 6 people in. We got chatting within minutes and joined the other party. It is possible to drink at home almost free but to go out and enjoy a drink in a warm chatty atmosphere is what it's all about for me. Lovely friendly bar staff and customers too. Was a shame to leave but we had been out for a while. Will go there first next time, lesson learnt. Lol.
We use Paul's little pub over the alleyway for a drink. Very friendly and great Bass beer!
Stayed for one night lovely pub great staffHotel highlightsQuiet, Great value
This is the best hotel experience we have shared for a very long time, even pre-Covid. Our room was very spacious, exceptionally clean and had plenty of everything you need for a comfy overnight stay. Very generous quantities of shampoo, conditioner and even body lotion. Excellent quantities of tea and coffee making facilities too. It's hard to choose whether the food or the staff were the highlight of our stay, as both were extremely good. Breakfast was the best we have had at any hotel we've stayed in. Attention to detail on flavouring, even the tomatoes and scrambled egg was very good. It's obvious good quality ingredients are used in this hotel. Customer service from all of the staff without exception is perhaps the greatest asset to staying and dining here. We don't live far away but have decided to try and make a regular booking to treat ourselves as often as possible. Keep up the good work everyone, you should be proud of what you offer. Many thanks to all.
Friendly staff. Hotel was lovely and clean. I feel that in the room no 7 I stayed in could do with a little TLC. Grout missing from floor tiles in bathroom, toilet seat hanging on for dear life and shower head could be cleaner. But overall I WOULD recommend a stay here. There is even little pots of Vegan milk as well as normal milk in the rooms, this is the first time I have seen this.
