Really enjoyed my experience here. Very easy to get hold of on the phone, table booked without issue. Promptly sat to our table and provided water without having to ask . Drinks order taken and brought back quickly. Just enough time given to look over the menu, although I'd already decided before I left home what I'd like. Really good flavour to the wings, first place in a while where I've been given a finger bowl. My wife's starter looked good and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Main course was really enjoyable. T bone steak was beautiful, cooked as requested, really good flavour to the meat, peppercorn sauce was lovely. Too much salt on the chips for my liking but it didn't take away from a very expertly cooked steak. Artichokes on a pizza were new but went down very well. Enjoyed being able to eat and chat without feeling like we needed to leave or they needed to give our table to someone else. Very relaxed and warm vibe in the restaurant. Will definitely recommend and will hopefully be coming back in the future. Vegetarian options: Good selection Parking: Not much
Absolutely AMAZING!!!! The food was delicious - from starters to desserts. Every single type of food we've ordered was just an explosion of flavour: carrot soup so creamy and fluffy never thought we would eat a carrot soup, the rib-eye steak so tender and juicy, the cheesecake was melting in our mouths... We got lucky, cause today they also had live music I think they have it every Saturday. Joshua just blew us away with his beautiful voice and piano play Thank you Wood Grill Team for such a wonderful evening. We couldn't have imagined a better way to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we only got there accidentally Definitely will return!
All perfectly passable. Pleasant ambiance & staff. FAST service. Three courses in 40 minutes. No rest between courses. So definitely not a place to sit and chat and take time over a meal. But if you have a relative or friend you have to see rather than want to see, it is a perfect location.

First time visiting the Wood Grill and was very impressed not only by the service but the quality of the food. The ambience was very nice, subtle music whilst enjoying a lovely evening. We will definitely recommend and are sure to come back for another visit.

Went to celebrate a 70th birthday, the food was excellent, we had steaks, pizza, pulled pork and a variety of other dishes, they were all well presented and really tasty. All the meals were of good quality and great value, the atmosphere and service was great, attentive but not intrusive. Would certainly recommend and will be returning.
The food was amazing... Went for a last minute mid-week meal. Stumbled across this place by looking on Google, read the reviews and thought it was worth a try. Food was really good, service was great and reasonably priced - everything I look for when going for a meal. We will definitely be going again. Thank you Wood Grill!
First time trying Wood Grill. Really impressed. Amazing food! The seafood risotto was delicious with fresh fish including octopus. Really nice steak and burger. Steak was good quality and well cooked. Cannot fault the food. Great, friendly service from all the staff. Dario and Sarah
Lovely bar and restaurant , friendly staff . Comfortable seating tucked away in a lovely village setting. Food very reasonable prices .
