A total shambles from start to finish, Sales Representative wasn't interested in updating our existing Hammonds wardrobes, just wanted to sell us some new ones. Eventually she rang the designer and he confirmed we could change our doors etc and keep the existing frames. Organised for the designer to come out and confirm it all could be done. Absolutely no problem at all, wardrobe design picked, colour picked and agreed a price close to £3,000. Arranged for surveyor to come and take all of the measurements and then a total to fun starts, the surveyor telling su the designer didn't;t know what he was doing and that they would have to charge us a further £200 to install them, the designer saying the surveyor didn't know how to do his job and that there wasn't any additional charges. Regional sales Manager involved and he didn't seem to care a great deal about the poor customer experience. So a second surveyor visits us and now tells us that in his opinion we can't even fit the wardrobes unless there is further costs or less than a satisfactory installation. What an absolute disgrace Hammonds, is this how you treat your existing customers. Your Sales Reps, Designers and Suveyors/Installation team don't talk to each other or seemingly understand how each department works. The worst experience I have ever had and three weeks on from paying my £520 deposit I have nothing! When is someone within your organisation going to be accountable and take responsibility for a very unhappy customer. Over to you!
