Story

Hambledon Village Shop is a not-for-profit organisation providing the village with a shop, post office and cafe, run by the community for the community.

The shop opens 7 days a week with a fine selection of foods, local produce, wine, spirits and newspapers, as well as a range of stationery and your local Post Office. Overlooking the cricket green and within walking distance of most of the village, the shop and its surroundings provide and idyllic environment in which to do your shopping, sit back and relax with a coffee and catch up with the Hambledon gossip.

We also offer free super fast wi-fi.

Lovely little shop in the village. Very friendly staff with very tasty food.
Visited at 1.30 on Wednesday to get a coffee to be told they had stopped serving drinks for the day despite the sign still being outside and lots of people at tables drinking coffee. Very disappointing when you are really looking forward to it. The raspberries and blueberries we bought in the shop were delicious so 5 to the shop and 1 to the cafe.
Cracking wee village shop and post office. Ideally situated on a local cycle route, the shop serves a good array of breakfast treats, coffee and good cake. Really nice outdoor seating area.
We’re so lucky to have Hambledon Village Shop on our doorstep. Not just because it has everything We always need and decent prices , but for the lovely people, happy vibe, beautiful location, perfect terrace for a cuppa and the best sausage rolls! Thank you volunteers!
What a gem! Tea and cake overlooking a village green cricket pitch - quiescental England! Community run / so not late afternoon - but good coffee / lunch/ early afternoon stop. Shop has local produce, meals & wine. Power to them! Excellent

Visited several times on group cycle rides. Excellent sausage rolls and coffee! Pleasant staff and friendly service.
Love, love, love this shop! Saturday mornings are special with a walk there, coffee and croissants while watching the cricket. Couldn’t be more idyllic! Always take our overseas visitors there to show them the “real” England. The volunteers are helpful, kind and cheery. A real gem!
