Very nice food, nice surroundings. It has been done up nicely and the staff were very nice. I had the chicken supreme and it was perfectly cooked, and the flavours well balanced.

Lovely country pub with great atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. I have forgotten something from the pub and they returned my lost item via the post! 😊 brilliant.

Saturday 28 October. Whilst we enjoyed an excellent meal, good service and good beer. we did not appreciate having to battle our way through a cloud of cigarette smoke, because a number of people insist in blocking the front door, its not as if it was raining, the sun was shining. They did not think about moving until we asked them. We experienced smaller number of people on the way out but still had the cloud of smoke to contend with. I would suggest these individuals use the benches provided and keep the entrance clear.
