They didn't handle a simple address change and I'm still(1 MONTH) waiting for a new pin number. Part of the staff is VERY rude and unhelpful. I do NOT recommend this branch, try Kilburn(completely different story, 5/5) or Brent Cross.

I thought banks are meant to help their customers with their debt problems but I guess not. One individual in particular has been nothing but rude and negative every time I've asked for help. Very unhelpful. So disappointed. Told me to go elsewhere with my troubles.

If I could give less stars I would! I was in this ridiculous branch today. There was a big que as usual at the counter one person only serving about 8 customers. The 2 machines for self service were out of service as usual. Anyway after this rude African descent lady employee fixes one of the machines I decided to use it but they always have issues with older bills so as usual it we bust again and the lady started acusing me of doing something to the machine and actually had the nerve to ignore what I told her and to start gossiping about me in a very rude manner with other employees. It was so hurtful and she treated me like I was an idiot. I actually went out of the branch and went into barclays to change my account with them. I have never seen such terrible customer service. Shame on you halifax!

It has its bad days but generally a good bank. Customers need to remember why we queue in the first place. So everyone waits their turn and get served and sorted at their own pace. Its not the customers fault for what they have to sort. The staff must open more positions asap at the slightest sight of a long queue, despite encouragement to use the machines.
