Visited my local branch to make an transaction, the greeting was really good by a staff Sayed, he delivered a good information to me in regards to a large transaction of a house purchase, however I decided to make an half transaction, I was then seen by a staff called Becky , she is very impolite, my mum was very frightened the way was asking questions regarding teh transaction, asking very aggressively, her voice was so bitter, she gave my mum a leaflet regarding a scam/ fraud then she started asking questions on what did you read, what you understand, its like I need you to answer every questions, it was like we are in a educational establishment. I told her my does not speak or understand very well English, I definitely think that she did not care about my mum English understanding. I give Becky A 0 rate. After all that my transaction was failed due to a technical error from their end. I told Becky ,look this is a genuine transaction. Later we met Diana I believe her to be the Bank manager, very polite, nicely greeted us, her voice was very calm and sweet ,she asked same questions as Becky but the way Diana asked really impressed, we felt relaxed, we were very comfortable with her. I would definitely give Diana a 5 star rate. I am thinking of closing my account with Halifax after this awful service then again after meeting Diana I will give a thought whether I want to close the account. Thank you Diana, we felt very welcome by you. Visited today 19th Dec 2022, I had a very good service from Diana, a big thank you to her and Sonia, really pleased, I felt very welcome and comfortable. hence I gave a 5 star to Diana and Sonia, thank you both.
Very slow service with long ques and only 1 person at the counter. The guy with glasses kept making mistakes with another customer and even took extra money from me even though the money bags had the correct amount!
I went in as a fellow banker to seek some assistance about a mutual customer. The manager, Clark, literally threw me out of the branch. I am really surprised with the way he insulated me! Let aside being a fellow banker i wouldnt imagine doing that to any human being. The worst staff i have ever met. They have no clue what customer service is. Surprised they are still in business!
The service I received in this bank today was absolutely appalling! The customer service from both the cashier and manager was the worst I've ever received. After the cashier refused to pay money into my account and wanted me to keep coming back on separate occasions to pay it all in separately, I asked to see the manager. She then said the managers out of the building and I can wait.. she then said she will put the money in.. then, because a money bag wasn't full she chucked it and told me she's not accepting it because she can't fill it. I'm confused, its a bank? She then refused to put it all into my account again. The manager then came over. The cashier told him she refused to put my money in because I was rude.. without even saying a word to me, he pushed my money towards me and said take your money, ive heard enough, well send you a letter! I was actually in shock! At no point was I rude to the staff to be treated like that. I tried to explain to him what had actually happened and he told me they're not taking my money and everyone's looking at me and walked off! I will be looking for a new bank tomorrow.
Closed down the Hinckley branch and it was closed on Saturday at 2:25pm when it says open to 3pm so I wasted my time and petrol rushing over after work, and I wasn't the only one outside needing to get in ?
Really bad customer service. The members need training up and need to learn to smile and be more friendly. Do the members realise there are other banks next door we can move to? The Manager at the Branch he said his name is Clark is just as bad... Also does anyone ever care about the queue? Even if the queue has 20 people waiting, they won't open another counter...
A very long wait to be served today but in the end was worth it as was helped by Lisa who is an Incredible asset to the bank.Very compassionate, friendly and efficient and I and the two ladies who she dealt before me and spent a very long time with them were I am sure very grateful to her as I am.
Probably the worst bank I've ever visited in my life. Immediately upon entering, a nice gentleman invited us to his desk. When we asked him simple questions, he couldn't answer them, he couldn't find our account on the computer and he finally sent us to ... LLoyds. Luckily, we were able to solve our problem over the phone. I think that with such a crew you only waste space in the center ...
Staff very rude as if they are doing it for free … not recommend please visit other branch instead of town centre .
I had been in to the branch in May this year to change my name over after marriage, I had to take time off work to do this, there was a very long queue, so had to wait over an hour! Only to find that come September when we were due to exchange contracts that they hadn't changed my name over! Which has meant me having to yet again visit the branch yet more time off work! To be told it could take 5-7 more working day's to change? Speaking to anyone on the phone is a waste of time the only advice they give you is to go into branch! Incompetent staff hopefully they will now change it over! Dissapointing and frustrating service all round
