Great pub for a beer before the match. I have not had a drink in this pub other than on match days at Goodison Park. On match days it gets quite busy and the service given by the staff behind the bar is excellent. Prices are reasonable and they have a choice of decent beers etc.Service: 5/5
Homely feel. Friendly staff. Could choose between the football and coronation Street. place for bingo on a Monday night. Will return.
It's a decent pub however they are pretty brave for charging £3.20 for a John Smith's when literally next door is a Wetherspoons that sells it for a pound cheaper then further down and pub also does it a pound cheaper.

Really good friendly people, excellent service, fantastic ale, value for money and everyone is made very welcome to be honest the best pub in kirkdale.
On entry quite warm and friendly. Barmaid was mixing and socialising and served us a nice chilled beer. Two TVs that was on the wall one above my head, quite noisy, but at least you can have a choice from boxing to racing, clearly not my taste and needed turning off. Lavatories had black mould on ceiling, quite disgusting untidy and smelly. Finished drink and headed for the door.
