Rude customer service. I wanted to check if I certain item was in store. So I called the store to check if they had any. No answer from then even after 12 tries ! So I went up to the store instead in hopes of getting some answers ! (30 minute drive away from me )! When I got a there I was served by a VERY RUDE member of staff who insisted that all phone calls are answered in a timely manner. I said "timely manner?" "Try wandering the phone at all" to which she replied "please leave the store as I feel threatened by you" I was asked to leave by a staff member for simply enquiring if a item was in stock. Which wouldn't of happened if they would pick up the f**king phone !! Disgraceful will never shop at toys r us and certainly won't recommend it ! Think I'll pay the extra and go to Argos instead !

Absolutely one of the most disgustingly,rascial and abusive staffed places!!! The security guard made my 5 year old nephew cry his eyes out and he was so scared of how that man was acting! All because my nephew was playing with a FIDGET SPINNER IN THE STORE!!!!! He was using threatening and offensive behaviour towards me , my mother, my sister and my nephew; and he had a cheeck to say hes going to get us a section five due to the fact my mother wasnt going to pay for anything that wasnt even packaged!!!! Absolutely disgusting he even intimidated a fellow employee to the point she didnt have a choice on what to do or how to act! HE WAS A DISGUSTING VILE MAN that dosent even deserve to work in a childrens store if thats what he does to them; ABSOLUTELY F*****G DISGUSTING !!!!!!!

Rude and bad customer service at Thurrock branch. Took a product that was clearly marked up at £4.99 as were the other 4 behind it and the girl at the checkout said the price was £9.99 so her supervisor went to check and said it was marked up wrong and that she wouldn't let it go at the marked price. When I suggested that they should really sell it at the price it was marked at because it was their mistake she became very rude and said she doesn't have to do anything and that she'd take them all off the shelves before shed serve me them. At that point thinking I can't be bothered arguing over a toy I told her not to bother and walked out. Now i wish I'd stayed and got her to get the store manager and reported her. Won't be going back there in a hurry!

Plenty of toys at reasonable prices. What more can you say? Well this one isn't 5 stars as it is often a bit messy in there - toys sometimes littering the floors. It's not so much that you'd think a tornado had gone through, but just here and there. I guess it's to be expected in such a large store where children run wild. Queues can be a little long but not exceptionally. Overall a good experience however.
