First class service.nPlaced an online order for wiper blades + fitting at 9am. Arrived at the store at 11. Had a brief chat with the excellent manager and the blades were fitted by 1110. Great work, gang! Thank you.
Been into Halfords tonight to get my licence plate bulbs replaced. I was greeted by a smile. the older man on the counter I forgot his name helped me find the bulb I needed and offered to fit the bulb. Unfortunately it wasn’t in stock he was going to order the bulb and the other younger man wanted to double check the delivery to ensure that they didn’t have one. They found one they both worked together to find me a bulb they went above and beyond and fit my bulb with the same smile as they had when I came in made both me and my partner feel very welcomed and valued. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone.
Tom fixed a fuse for my Renault Clio, he was so warm and friendly and an asset to the company. Even in these freezing temperatures nothing was too much effort! He said my car might take a few minutes for the new fuse to register and as I reached the roundabout my wipers came back to life! Thank you so much Tom!!
I bought 2 bright bulbs for my car with the fitting service. An older man served me on the night and assisted me to make sure I had the correct bulbs. However, the operative that was going to fit them told me he couldn't. The bulbs couldn't be replaced from the back so I needed to go to the Halfords garage just down the road. It transpires that the Halford Garage WILL NOT fit any lights bought from the store! So because I'd been told the lights would have to be fitted by removing various parts I bought ANOTHER set of lights for the garage to fit. Now this operative managed to change my lights all by opening the bonnet! I immediately returned the first set of lights to the original store and got a refund. I asked WHY was I sent to the garage and he remarked the fitter was probably busy! Or the store was understaffed!! I asked why on earth did I get sent to another garage was he aware and he said no! It's turns out that although to the public both places have the Halfords signage and sell the same products - they WILL not do each others work!! Members of the public just assume the company name will be like the high class service that they advertise. That customers satisfaction is a paramount aim in customer satisfaction. And this morning I wasted 2 hours on my day off. I am truly annoyed about this shocking service and intend to take it further.
