Totally disastrous interaction. Bought and paid for a battery with installation recommended by website. Turned up to collect when Sent message that battery was ready. No appointment so no installation despite no opportunity to make an appointment in purchase process. Then asked all my details and offered an appointment next day. Great. Turned up next day, can't install this battery in your car. You have to go to an auto centre. No-one knows what they are doing in this store. Totally lost confidence, if I ever buy from Halfords again it will not be from this store.
Frustrating trying to find out updates on how my bike repair was going, the store never picks up the phone and when they did promised call backs but never called back. When I came to pay for my repairs I had a 10% discount voucher, which was perfectly fine, but the person on the checkout couldnt process it and sort of said 'tough', without any reason.
Took my kids Bike for repair Halford free assessment and got it fixed for free by the team! I was expecting a massive bill of around 50£ or so thinking I had to replace the brakes but it had just loosened and had to be re-wired. Thank You SO much Team! Happy Kid Happy Mommy
Very good experience. Started with telephone call answered by Zelda who was extremely helpful in confirming which windscreen wiper blades I needed. Zelda suggested I pay for the items giving me an order number to present at the store. No problems when I got to the store, got the impression they were expecting me. Sorry didn't get the name of the person who fitted the wiper blades but he did it in a couple of minutes.

Alan was very helpful an good at his job the lady that is working there I think her name is Melissa should not be working in the bike section as she isn’t very helpful and very rude. She told me that I couldn’t have a bike for 2 to 3 weeks basically told me to go away.. I Went online got bike in two days.. Thanks Alan I give him 5 stars but her 0
Gravesend store brilliant Customer services in South Africa worse than awful just let your customers contact the store directly… a hour of my time wasted… store resolved in 1 minute Second experience of the customer service last time I cancelled and went to boots I suggest you are losing a lot of business Store experience spot on Online experience worse than awful not sure I would use again
"Halfrauds" Absolutely useless store in gravesend. Everytime i go in there i either cant be served due to no staff at tills, the item is 1000% of RRP, or they havent got any stock. Easier to order online elsewhere, which is what im going to do.
An item for collection was available quickly but I was not informed either by email or text. Only tracking showed it had been 'delivered' so a visit to store confirmed it had been waiting for me.
Superb! Tom H one of the managers there is a top bloke his knowledge on his products is brilliant. hands down brilliant service
