I always go there for MOT and done break service. Great price, quick service, nice staff and location however one recommendation which is to clean the customer toilet. It is very dirty. Lost a star due to that. Last time I assumed it was one time issue but now I know it is always dirty. I will go back again but use the closest cafe's toilet instead. Thanks.
Must admit I was apprehensive in using Halfords for tyre balancing and 2 wheel alignment but they did the job well!! I'm very picky about these matters like making sure the steering wheel is bang on centre and there is no vibrations from the wheels... when picked up the car today, was pleasantly surprised at how well they did it all. Could have been a bit quicker as booked a timeslot but told had to leave car, but happy with end result so not a big issue.
If I could give minus 5 stars I would! Booked car in for a DPF deep clean today. No communication from dropping car off until I rang at 3.30 pm. Told everything fine and picked car up. Upon checking paperwork there were no notes, no diagnostic reports and paperwork said procedure had been done. Called to query no notes on paperwork and the fact wrong mileage on the paperwork. Was told finally it was a miscommunication and the procedure had in fact not been done and the filter was too blocked although they took my money allowed me to drive the car 80 miles home and had I not called I would be non the wiser. Lies from start to finish but luckily I recorded my entire conversation with them and will be straight on to trading standards. Absolutely disgusting behaviour
Booked in an mot for a 15:10 appointment. Mot was carried out professionally, however it became obvious that the centre was overwhelmed with work and running very late. I was fortunate to get away before 17:00. Booked another car for an mot in a couple of weeks for 08:30am, hopefully will run smoother at that time of morning.
Booked for MOT and full service. Done the MOT but the full service wasn't full at all. Didn't replace oil filter and who knows what else. Had to go another garage to replace it. Fuel leaking, oil leakingoil and diesel stains on private parking after Halfords full service. Went back to Halfords and they said nothing leaking. Went another garage and they showed me the oil leak Waste of £200 . Don't use them!
Had a flat tyre, took it into Halfords in West Hendon and they said they would order the tyre and call me in a couple of days when it has arrived. Two days later there was no call so i called them gave my details car reg. etc. and was asked 'do i know who i spoke to when i came in' - as soon as the guy on the phone said that alarm bells started to ring. I was assured the person who i spoke to 2 days earlier would call me within 30mins to resolve this. One hour later i had no call-back from Halfords so i called them and it would just ring with no answer. I attempted to make contact 3 - 4 times that day waiting nearly 20mins each time with no answer. Personally i feel they saw my mobile number come up, knew it was me and decided to ignore the call - hoping the problem would go away. What a terrible service you are offering to motorists at this autocentre. Halfords Head Office, you should investigate how this autocentre is functioning and how they are treating customers. Three days after my puncture i went to kwik-fit and they were amazing. Sorted everything out for me within 20mins - well done Kwik Fit for the customer focus your employees are trained to provide.
When I rang yesterday I was told I can pop in today to replace my tyres no appointment needed. When I turned up this morning I was rudely told I need an appointment and they have 13 staff sick with covid.. I found that unbelievable. I am reading your advert in the Mail today .soo amusing.....
I had my MOT done at Halfords. I’m really impressed with how simple and quick it was for me, from booking my vehicle in online to picking my car up after the MOT had been done. I highly recommend this and will definitely be sticking with Halfords in the future.Service: Auto maintenance
Shoddy customer service, incorrect information provided, very long queue to drop off and pick up car for MOT. Wasn’t called to say that my car wouldn’t be ready for another 2hrs after they originally said. Lots of complaints from others while I was in the queue. They are severely understaffed.Services: Auto maintenance
Warning..Avoid please, I had a very bad experience with this Hendon branch so called Manager PAUL !!! as a minicab driver I change tyres often and I am always buying my tyres from kwik fit, but, this time I thought will try Halford as big name and have good tyres offer. I ordered online 2 Goodyear tyres with 4 wheels Alignment . First , I fitted the 2 tyres , the done the wheels Alignment, for only the front wheels , as the very nice gentleman Mr Ian, told me my Toyota doesn’t need alignment for the back wheels only front , but, I paid for 4 wheels, he told me to speak to Paul the manager to get refund for only 2 wheels. I told Paul about the refund for the 2 wheel , he said there is no refund as it was promotional price , then I went to check in the website, and I proved for him I can get the refund, then he said ok I will do it for you in rude way. I went home after 3 hours I thought about checking the tyres, then I found out he fitted me with wrong tyres, cheaper price , I drove back to the garage , and told him, and I could see he already knew , and he meant to do it, as he gave the the gentleman the tyre fitter Mr Lee, the tyres . Then after he did see me very upset, he was whispering to his assistant to change them to the right ones. So, please, if you ever planning to go to that garage AVOID that manger PAUL , remember the name. For me I will never go to that place again . The only positive thing was the 2 nice friendly smiley gentlemen Mr LEE and MR Ian . They should be the managers not the others.
