The place is tiny and it was packed. The band was great, excellent acoustics but seating although comfy was very cramped. Music started like 20 mins late. Service was slow at the beginning but got better when everyone got seated. As of May2022, entrance fees is 12€.
Very bad reservation management! They tell you on the website that reserved seats at the bar won't be given away unless you are more than 15 minutes late. We arrived on time, and the seats were taken. We kindly pointed this out to the manager, but she refused to do anything about it in a very unfriendly tone. After reading through other reviews, it's clear that we weren't the first to experience that. Hopefully the new will spread! At the very least they shouldn't make wrong promises on their website!
I came to Half Note to celebrate my own individual success. I found a friendly atmosphere and good vibes. I came alone and made many friends. I recommend Half Note to anyone who wants to get lost in the magical world of Jazz. Jazz forever
Great venue! Old school feel. The band tonight is closing out with some Hendrix. Perfect…. Entry was €20. Tall draft beer €6. Low tables. High tables. Sit at the bar if you want. Very cool….
Half Note, but triple the rip-off We reserved and bought tickets beforehand, just to arrive at the jazz club on time!! and find out that our seats had just been given away - a complete rip-off. I hope the news will spread and customer service will be handled differently, because it’s a shame, and disrespectful towards the musicians because you can’t enjoy the music when being treated like that.
It is the live music you need in a venue that will accommodate you at best with great service, and acoustics are just perfect. Check for their programme, certain that there will always be something for all preferences. Absolutely perfect in every way! A must in Athens!

I had an amazing time watching the jazz show the other night. Place is very intimate and the artist gave a beautiful performance. Drinks were good and good value for money. I'm looking forward to my next visit there.
A historical Jazz Club in downtown Athens. 5/5 stars because it's a master place for jazz music.
