Visited here after a long day in London and it is close to Maidstone East. The staff made us feel welcome upon arrival. The restaurant is quite small however the menu choice is great. I was going to order a very mild chicken dish but the waiter was convinced I would prefer another chicken dish, the Dumka, well it was very tasty. My only criticism is my plate was cleared away a little too soon, I had barely finished. However I will be back.

It was lovely- food, lamb, the best in my whole life. The waiters were so nice, the atmosphere amazing. I would 100% recommend this place

Very nice, quaint, cosey restaurant. Staff are very helpful and very happy to tend to you and listen. The only recommendation I would propose, is a little more detail on the menu, in particular when describing the meals. An example would be stating there is coconut in the meal. This really isn't a big issue because the meals are always amazing and would highly recommend!

Came here to eat with my boyfriend after reading the good reviews. The food was ok.. chicken curry could have been a little spicier. Paneer was hard, lamb was amazing really enjoyed the lamb. Service was nice and friendly. Small restaurant with not much atmosphere but overall ok.

A very small restaurant (advisable to book), personally supervised by the owner, which I have found consistently excellent. Portions are generous, and service is efficient and friendly. We have visited it a number of times over the years and it has never disappointed. It is usually easy to park nearby in the evenings, by the entrance to Maidstone Jail.
